collected off the coast Each Slippy was once a plastic bottle on the coast of Mexico or Haiti. We collect the water bottles before they get to the ocean, turn them into yarn, and then use that yarn to knit the wonderful, reusable Slippy. Slippy yarn is the only yarn in the world made from 100% ocean-bound plastic!
