A HOUSING SUCCESS STORY

We recently had a client who was forcefully and unfairly removed from his apartment by his landlord, which caused him to lose his apartment and belongings. Through our JFS Housing Program, we assisted him in securing a new apartment in the neighborhood where he grew up, an area that holds meaningful and positive memories for him. To support his transition and promote financial stability, we covered four months of his rent The client is now stably housed and has shared his appreciation for the support and assistance provided by our agency as he works towards rebuilding his life

OPERATIONS UPDATES

The Operations & Facilities team has some excited changes!
Araia Heathcott will now handle purchasing of office and tech supplies. Please continue to fill out out purchasing form https://forms.office.com/r/HNUf4GNUrp, provide a funding source and get supervisor approval
David Jankowiak will act as liaison between JFS and MVP. As always when you have a laptop issue, put in a ticket with MVP. David will keep an eye on all tickets to make sure they are completed in a timely manner. David is also your go to guy, if you need any in-house tech supplies.
Lastly, both Aria and David will work together on deploying tech and office supplies to new hires. Supervisors, be sure to communicate your new hire needs (via Facilities@jfswny.org) to them. This includes desk assignments, badges & fobs.
These changes in duties will create a faster turn-around for your needs.
