Thrilling Saga of Pioneer J"ews in the American West." Putting Jewish cowboys, sheep ranchers and cattle punchers in their place in history alongside other Americans of pioneering spirit. Dr. Libo's presentation highlights little-known ^contri'butions of Jews to the taming of the West. • Dr. Libo is currently the curator of American Jewish history for the Museum of Jewish Heritage of New York. He is a popuId)- historian and lecturer, and has spoken to groups all over the country on Jewish history. Dr. Libo was the English-language editor of the Jewish Daily Forward, and has written articles and reviews for many newspapers and periodicals. In conjunction with his appearances at Beth Israel Synagogue, Dr. Libo will be speaking on Sunday at an exhibit at the Jewish Community Center on "Voyages to Freedom: 500 Years of Jewish Life in America." .
