Newman Supporting Foundation, announced applications liave been sent to organizations and individuals operating or residing witliin a 76-mile radius of Omaha advising of funds available from the Newman Supporting Foundation. Mr. Noddle indicated the Newman Foundation Board o^ Trustees will be meeting on April 19 to consider requests from individuals and and qualified organizations in need of funds for purposes consistent with the l^_bylaws of the Foundation.

These bylaws provide for distribution of earnings to (1) individuals who reside in or within 76 miles of Omaha for charitable, educational or religious purposes; (2| the Fedotition; or (3) any or all of the charitable organizations which have their principal offices in or within 75 miles of Omaha and operate primarily in and within 76 miles of Omaha and which are beneficiaries of the current year's budgeting and allocation process of the Jewish Federation of Omaha, Inc.
