Kripke will be the guest lecturers for a Sukkot Study Kallah. flabbi Kripkc, rabbi emeritus of ilclh El Synagogue, will devote two lectures to the question: "What can a Jew Relieve About God?" Senator Alan Cranston of California will be In Omaha Oct. 28 for a breakfast meeting with the Jewish community and a citizens involvement forum. Sponsored by Nebraska Interchange, the breakfast, conference activities and dinner program will take place at the Holiday Inn, 3321 South 72nd Street. Reservations arc required. According to the announcement, the 0:30 a.m. breakfast will give members of the Jewish community an opportunity to speak with Senator Cranston concerning the latest developments in the Middle Bast as they pertain to Israel. i'he Citizens Involvement Forum starts at 10:30a.m. with a session on Ilragonomlcs followed by a discussion of Politics and nrllglon of the New Right. The Nebraska Interchange organizational meeting was held lost April, in Lincoln, sponsored by the Nebraska State Education Association and the Lincoln Education Association.

Israel's birthday Pam Cohen and Benson Lcet, co chairmen of the Jewish Cultural Arts Council's Yom Ha'Atzmaut celebration, will hold the first Planning committee meeting Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m. at thc'JCC. This year's Yom Ha'Atzmaut: Israeli Independence Day celebrates Israel's 35th birthday and has been scheduled for April 30 and May 1. Plans include en tertainment on Saturday night and a day-long outdoor bazaar on Sunday. Jewish organizations may participate in this year's program.
