Hazel Degen estate to benefit Omahans
By Morrl* Mallnr The Jewish Federation of Omaha and Temple Israel each stand to inherit onefourth of an estate valued at 11.5 million less taxes. Louis I). that she was the daughter of Sol Degen, an Omaha cattleman who was active in the stockyards here since 18B5. He was honored hy his friends in 1941 for 50 years of service in the yards. Lincoln elects Grant At a recent meeting, the Hoard of Dijrctors^of the Lincoln Jewish Welfare Federation elected Gerald S. Grant as president. He succeeds Yale Gotsdiner who had served for three years.
