Brunch Needs Reservations Brunch reservations for the upcoming annual meeting must be paid for by Jan. 12 at the rate of $4.25 per person, It was announced today. The joint annual meeting of the Jewish Federation of Omaha and Its departments will take place on Jan. 18 at 11 a.m. IntheJCC. The streamlined 90 minute meeting will be kicked off with a brunch, and reservations must be finalized so that adequate preparations can be made.

Rabbi Waldman Dies in N.Y." Rabbi Morton Waldman, spiritual leader of Congregation Tlfercth Israel In Lincoln In the late 1960s and early 1970s, died In Jackson Heights, N.Y. Dec. 30, of a heart attack. He was 39. Rabbi Waldman had been serving as dean of the Cantorial School of the Jewish Theological Seminary and as spiritual leader of the Jackson Heights Community Center. More than 1,000 persons from the New York area and from various parts of the country attended the funeral service. Burial was in Long Island, N.Y. Attending from Lincoln were Henry and Esther Mlsle, Max and Eleanor Neiden, and Dorothy Grant. "~~In addition to his wife, Rosalie, Rabbi Waldman irsurvlved by four daughters ranging in age from seven to 13.

Israel Helps Dairy Expansion Jerusalem (JNI) — Israel agriculturalists will aid the development of dairy industries in the Dominican Republic and Venezuela, recent agreements Indicate. The extension of a nine-year Israel settlement program In" an arid region of the Dominican Republic led to a recent

trilateral agreement with Canada to build a major dairy farm settlement during the next five years. According to the treaty, the Dominican Republic will underwrite 3.5 million dollars to cover construction and Israeli: experts' fees. Canada will spend the same amount on

dairy equipment and Holstein cattle and Israel will use its agricultural experience in arid zones to provide the needed expertise. In addition, Yoav and Yonatan Huwitz, on behalf of the Is'raeirTenne-Noga dairy, willsign an agreement in early January with Caracas busi-

nessmen to develop a Venezuelan dairy Industry. The contract will center on shipping Israeli cattle, which give 8,000 liters of milk yearly, to Venezuela, where cows only produce 1,500 liters annually. With Israeli aid,"Venezuela hopes to reduce Its milk and cheese Imparts.
