Livingston Foundation Gives $25,000 To Subsidize A Mission to Israel Jule M. Newman, president of the Livingston Foundation, announced today that they have made a special grant of $25,000 to the Jewish Federation or Omaha to help subsidize a mission to Israel. The forthcoming trip was described as a fact-finding, intensive study mission with a special Itinerary by Joe Klrshenbaum and Harlan Noddle, co-chairmen of the 1978 Men's Campaign. This "men only" mission is scheduled for November 26 through December 2 and can accommodate 25 participants. "The Livingston Foundation provided the grant to subsidize this trip so that a broader base of people within the Jewish Community will better understand the needs of Israel" the co-chairman said.

It's sponsored in conjunction with the United Jewish Appeal, and it offers an Intensive exposure to Israel; it's the kind of a visit that can't be bought on the open market,"- the cochairmen said. Harlan and Nancy Noddle Joined a group from other communities on a similar trip in January. "A trip like this gives one a whole new dimension. It's one of the reasons why I'm going to be so active in the Campaign, "Noddle said. The co-chairmen pointed out that the trip itinerary will be announced once It is finalized.
