Nazi Hunter Talks
Hitler Marches On The United States Supreme Court - the highest expression of law in the nation — has ruled that Nazis have the right to march and parade In Skokie, 111., a thickly populated Jewish suburb near Chicago. Our interpretation is that the Court has made a mistake. The Constitutional right of free- speech and; assembly does not give anyone the right to shout fire in a crowded theater. Yet, on July 4, the National Socialist Party plans 40 demonstrate in front of the Skokie Village Hall. .

MAUTHAUSEN, Austria - Simon Welsehthal, left, hunter of Nazi war criminals, walks with television commentator Dan Rather, at Mauthausen, Austria concentration camp, during filming of CBS "Who's Who." Wiesentha], a legend to the world's Jews, explains on the show why he has tracked down some 1,100 Nazis, including the infamous Adolf Eichmann. He insists that Nazis must be brought to trial because the trials are "historical lectures" in a time when people have forgotten, or wish to forget, the atrocities committed against millions of people in the name of Adolf Hitler. "These were not only Jews" Wlesenthal says, "There were Frenchmen, there were Dutch people, it was Russians, It was Gypsies... they are in a common mass grave, why not mention them?" (RNS Photo) '
No one in his right mind can expect that Jews will sit idly by as these Nazis flaunt the ghost of Hitler in the faces of SIX MILLION JEWISH DEAD. We fully expect that there will be a counter demonstration in Skokie. We are hopeful, however, that the Jewish community of Skokie will exercise good Judgment and restraint in dealing with this intolerable situation. •. • . Morris Mallne
