WILMINGTON, Del. - A Bicentennial time capsule which Included material related to Jewish history was buried on Sept. 30 in Wilmington Square. According to the Jewish Historical Society of Delaware, the capsule contained "The History of the Jews in Delaware" by Rabbi M. David Geffen and the Jewish Historical Society's publication "Jewish Delaware: History, Sites, Communal Services." Arthur Krleger, chairman of the event, also enclosed a mezuzab in the hope that there would be peace for the world In the next century. Omaha's Jewish Candidates Seek Political Offices OMAHA — The up-coming election on November 2 has among its candidates several Omaha Jews. Their i names, the offices for which ' they are candidates, and short biographies follow. EDWARD ZORINSKY 47, is the Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate. Zorinsky is the Mayor of Omaha, a post be has held since May, 1973. He is Omaha-born, a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha in a pre-med curriculum. He attended Harvard University for post-graduate work In business administration and then Joined the family tobacco wholesale business
for 23 years in Omaha. . Twice appointed by two governors to the Nebraska Judicial Qualifications Committee, Zorinsky won a sixyear term or office as a director of the Omaha Public Power District in 1968. As Mayor, he has run the city government on the principles of tight budget management, steady tax base and fiscal responsibility. He Is married and has three children. RICHARD FELLMAN, is a candidate for Douglas County Commissioner. As a practicing lawyer, he has had his own law office since 1964. He Is a lifelong Douglas County resi-
