Omaha Students to Join Hunger Strike for POW's [ [ [ I I ^ I ^ \. [

Omaha — Israeli studeats in Omaha will stage a Hanger Strike to protest the Syriaa treatment of Israeli POW'i on March 4 begbwhig at • a.m. at Ike University af Nebraska at Omaha Student Center. The 14 hour strike, organized by the Association of Israeli Students, will be held in centen all across the United States. The strike ii timed to coincide with the departure of parenia of Israeli POW's in Syria who have been tpMMng across the country on the plight of their sons. This number includes air crews, armored corp soldiers and artillery men aa well as other soldiers. The number was reached after careful examination of all details of the remains of soldiers found in the battle area. The 60 includes soldiers recognized in press photos, and those interviewed by foreign correspondents.

NEW YORK, (JTA) Defense Minister Moshe Dayan will fly to Miami for the Inaugur-al Dinner on March 2 that will initiate the largest campaign for Israel Bonds in the history of American and Canadian Jewry. More than 20eo Jewish leaders from the U.S., Canada and Mexico will participate in the launching of the unprecedented >1 billion Reconstruction and Development Bond Issue to help Israel's economy recover from the shattering effects of the Yom Kippur War and to maintain the development program necessary to provide jobs for more than 60,000 new immigrants this year.

Offices Move To New JCC Omaha — After 48 years of service, the doors were closed this week to the Jewish Community Center building at 20th and Dodge Streets. Deed to the property was to be transfered today to officials of Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, who purchased the property (or $700,000. Proceeds of the sale have been earmarked for an Endowment Fund for programming at the new Center. Offices currently housed in the Center building have been moved to the new Jewish Community Center at 333 North 132nd Street. In addition to the various JCC departments, the offices include: Jewish Federation of Omaha, Omaha Jewish Philanthropies, Esther K. Newman Camp, Jewish Family Service and The Jewish Press. According to Hy Tabachnick. Director of the Jewish (immunity Center, the new Onter will not open officially until early April, and programming will begin at that time. The office area, however, will be available to the public immediately. Phone service has been started and the new number, (or all Center and Federation offices is 334-8200.
