^Construction Company Gives $10,000 Donation to New JCC Omaha-A gift of $10,000 for the new Jewish Community Center. Building Fund was presented this week to Robert Runice, chairman of the Business and Industries section of the new Building Fund campaign, by Ed Foster, president of Foster-Smetana Company, general contractors for the new building. •- • • In making the presentation, Mr. Foster said "AH of us at the Foster-Smetana Company are most pleased to have this opportunity to participate in the .development of the dreams of ai dedicated" group Into actuality."; As he accepted the check, Mr. Runice stated that "I am delighted with the very generous gift of Foster-Smetana Company to the JJewish Community Center Building Fund campaign. This gift, along with

others from the business community of Omaha, will be of significant help in the successful funding of the new Center. The Center has a distinguished record of service to the entire Omaha community, and its ability to serve should be substantially enhanced by the new facility • now under construction," Norman Batt, chairman of the New Center Building Committee, noted that "the contribution from the building contractor was generous and heartwarming. It is encouraging to know," said Mr. Batt, that the "entire community joins with us in furthering the construction of a^ new Center building,It is because of the cooperation of men like Bob Runice and Ed Foster that Omaha continues to be a thriving; positive community in which to live."
