She has served in various capacities oii the Omaha Jewish Philanthropies Campaigns and was a Co-Chairman qf the 1971 Women's Pacesetter Division.
Rabbi Abraham J. Heschel with the rise of Nazism and founded the Institute for Jewish Learning in London. Rabbi Heschel came to the United States in 1940 where he was Assistant Professor • of Philosophy and Rabbinlcs at the Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati. He has been visiting professor at Cornell, Stanford and Iowa Universities and the Protestant Union" Theological Seminary. He currently holds the chair of Professior of Jewish Ethics and Mysticism at the Jewish Theological Seminary, of America.
