Tliis was the view of a number of returning college stu- • dents when questioned by the Jewish Press. The relief of freedom from classrooms soon gives way to boredom. Some students seek refuge in summer school studies; some hold down summer jobs; but most feel the void of separation from their friends on campus. While all agree "it's nice to be part of the family again," many students miss the social and intellectual stimulation of their lives on campus. What can be done to fill (he void?

It would give them a chance to renew old high school friendships, and provide an opportunity "just to talk" with other members of the college set. Mibsy Brooks volunteered the use of her home at 8668 Cedar. Sunday, July 11, at 7:30 p.m. has been set for this first gettogether. All Jewish college Students are invited to come. According"to Mibsy, the evening is limited to college students, with the exception of Harold and Denlse Adler, who have been invited "just to provide some stimulus for interesting conversation." Mr* Adler is the regional director of ADL and has information about many community problems of Interest to college students. His wife has been doing some unusual work in the area of abortion counseling. Mibsy emphasizes that there will be no formal program or lecture. "Just an opportunity for kids to. spend a pleasant evening meeting and talking with interesting, people." The invitation is open to all members of the college generation, and Mibsy is urging everyone to "Come—and bring a friend."
