receive his ordination at the Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati on June 5. He has served as a student rabbi for Temple Concord, Binghamton, New York, and conducted bi-weekly services at Temple I s r a e l , Blytheville, Ark. A cum laude graduate from Union College in Schenectady, New York, Rabbi Weinstein studied at the University of Madrid in Spain during his junior year. He also studied for a year at-the State University of New York at Buffalo. From 1956-71 he has" been a student at Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati, and during 1968-69 studied at the Hebrew Union College in Jerusalem. Rabbi Weinstein has engaged in various communal activities, including work as a Spanish teacher in the Owego-Apalachin Central Schools in New York;- religious school teacher at I. M. Wise Temple; and Seminar leader for the Cincin* nati Bureau of Jewish Educa* tion City Conference.

This makes the Emporium the second major San Francisco store to honor the boycott In protest over the denial of freedom to Soviet Jews; City of Paris made a similar agreement several weeks ago. Goods involved at the Emporium are reported to include vodka, caviar and furs. Linda Pupos, SJAG board member, who was instrumental in negotiations with the officers of both stores, declared that "These two are only the beginning.
