to enhance Jewish identification among high school and college age people who are qualified, by providing a total of 24 scholarships to Jewish camps and institutes, and to Israel itself. "Our community is offering a high quality of Jewish life, and I'm sure that all persons in the community can relate to this goal, through, the services that are being provided by our local agencies. "Regarding the Israel Emergency Fund, the goal that was set by the Board will enable Des' Moines to ransom and absorb 122 Jews from countries of distress into Israel. This is in addition to.the 50 per cent contribution from, our Regular Campaign to the UJA. "The total goal of $1 million parallels our record giving in 1967, It is only logical, therefore, with the needs being greater than in 1967, that we have another unprecedented Campaign this year."
