Arthur Kagin has been appointed chairwan of the newly-created Metropolitan Division of the 1970 Jewish W e l f a r e Federation Campaign. The division will be responsible for conducting the campaign in communities surrounding the Des Moines area. Mr. Kagin, a member of the Federation Board of Governors, was 1969 General Gifts chairman, and is chairman of the Federation Collection Committee. He has served as president of B'nai B'rith, Jewish. War Veterans and Beth El Jacob Synagogue. He is currently president of the Zionist Organization, and is on the National Committee of the Shrine to Jewish War Dead in Washington, D.C. A numismatic consultant, Mr. Kagin is co-founder and past president of the Professional Numismatists Guild of the United States. He received the B'nai B'rith Man of Uie Year Award; the Jewish War Veterans Americanism Award and the Beth El Jacob Award for community service.

Mr. Pidgeon, a member of the Commission on Jewish Social Service, serves on the finance committee of the Jewish Welfare Fedeartion. He is president of the, Tifereth Israel Men's Club and serves on the board of directors of Tifereth Israel Synagogue. He is advisor for the Drake Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, and is a member of the board of directors of the Tall-Corn Area Council of the Boy Scouts. President of.
