The appointment of Harold L. Adler as the Plains States Regional Director of the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith was announced this week. Mr. Adler assumes the p o s i t i o n formerly handled by A r t h u r Teitelbaum. The Plains States office, located in Omaha at 537 Securities Building, serves the states of Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas as well as Kansas City, Missouri and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Born in Los Angeles, California, Mr. Adler attended the University of California at Los Angeles where he obtained both a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Teaching C r e d e n t i a l . He joined the Los Angeles staff of the ADL in January of 1905 as their Program and Community Consultant. Prior to 1955, Mr. Adler was employed by the B'nai B'rith Youth Organization as a parttime F i e l d Consultant for 5 years and as Regional Director
of the Greater Los Angeles region for 1 year. Mr. Adler and his wife, Denyse, are the parents of a 15month old daughter, Tracey.
