The annual award honors an Omaha woman for service in the community.and civic affairs and for the improvements of human' relations and advancement of citizenship responsibilities, Mrs. Elizabeth Davis Pittman, 1833 recipient, wiii make the: 'presentation to Mrs. Brodkey. Gertrude, Brodkcy The wife of District Judge Donald Brodkey, Mrs. Brodkey is a practicing attorney; a third year president of the University of Omaha Law School Alumni Association and a past president of the Women Lawyers of Omaha. She serves as first-vice-president of the Omaha Council of Parent-Teacher Association and is a recipient of the Honorary P-TA State Life Membership. Mrs, Brodkey served as Secretary of the Governor's Conference on Education in 19G4. In 1965 she was named to the

Feinberg, General Campaign Chairman. "I am glad to report that this .selection met with the approval of the Men's Division Steering Committee, the special group giving the guidance and experience of six past campaigns, to the important job facing this division." Mr. Feinberg stated. Appreciates Omaha Coimmmitv In accepting the position of Men's Division chairman, Mr Weinstein emphasized his deep interest in the Omaha Jewish community, and what it offers. "I am aware of the importance of the Jewish Philanthropies to the welfare of our own Jewish community. Indeed. Mr. Wein.stein has been associated with the firm of Steele, Weinstein und Associates since li)!3. His firm has been the recipient of 22 local, state and national awards for design. A guest lecturer on m a n y college campuses, Mr.. Weinstein has had articles published in IS national magazines. Among the many public facilities designed by Mr. Weinstein are Camp Esther K. Newman, the Chapman-Cherniack Pavilion at the Dr. Sher Home, Temple Israel School wing, the Corrina and Milton Livingston Chanel at Temple Israel and the Beth Israel Education Wing.
Dr. Kelley s e r v e d as past president of the Society of Neurology and Psychiatry for Nebraska. A former instructor in the Graduate School of New • York.University, Dr. Kelley was a lecturer at the University of Florence, Italy. Dr. Kelley is olteij-referred to as the "Godfather" of the Omaha Hebrew Academy because of his contributing Influence in the formation of the school.
