Mr, Moore is a graduate of the Hot S p r i n g s , Arkansas School of Massage. He attended the Physicians Medical Center where he received advanced training in Hydrotherapy. Mr. Moore has assumed his duties in the Center Health Club, and .extends a warm invitation to members to take advantage of the excellent facilities available. An Open House will be told on Supday, October 24, to give members the opportunity of meeting Mr. Moore. Refreshments will be .served. Foreign Films Series To Start in rjouemlier

B a r t o n Greenberg and Stewart Tully have extended an invitation to everyone in the community to attend the Children's Memorial Hos-. pital Bazaar on Monday, October 25. from 9 a.m. to !) p.m. at the Sheraton Fontcnelle Hotel. "A score of volunteers will be selling the handmade items and other useful articles which will be available," said the chairmen. "We look forward to seeing all our women at the Bazaar so that once again the booth sponsored by the Federation of Jewish Women's clubs •will be one of the most successful nt the Bazaar." Lynn Wolf, member of tho J.C.C. Film committee has announced that a film a month, for six months, is being planned for presentation in the Jewish Community Center Annual International Film Series. Movies will be scheduled for one Sunday per month from November through April. Films being considered for the series include La Strada, The Mouse That Fvoared, Sundays and Cybele. Zorba the Greek.. Never on Sunday and Robert Benchley and W. C. Fields film clips. Mrs. Wolf has announced that anyone interested in seeing particular films included in the series should make their requests known to the Center's Activities Department, as it is still possible to substitute other films for the ones being considered should there be sufficient interest shown. A charge of $1 will be made for each film presentation. Tho feature films will be preceded by short film classics or art films. A completed schedule of dates and film titles will be announced in the near future,
Washington (JTA)—Some- Negro businessmen appear to have developed an anti-Semitic attitude because Jewish merchants are "aggressive competitors and abound in the ghettos," according to Eugene P. Foley, Assistant Secretary of Commerce and director of tho U.S. Economic Development Administration, as quoted by tho Washington Post 'ConipclUoi >.' Mr. Foley, former Administrator of the' Small Business Administration, made available to the Washington, newspaper his comments on handicap" of Nu-
gro-owned businesses. Commenting on what appeared to him to be, an'• anti-Semitic attitude among some Negroes. Mr. Foley ascribed it "to the fact that Jewish merchants are 'aggressive competitors and abound the ghettos,'" He noted, for example, that "in Harlem and in. other largely Negro areas, Jews own more stores than any other ethnic group." Her scripts for children for the Dolls for Democracy of B'nai B'rith Women are used in their national programming. Mrs. Goldstein pioneered thu Dolls for Democracy program under the auspices of the Omaha Area Anti-D e f a in a t i o n League and the Henry Monsky Chapter of B'nai B'rith. Nearly 10.000 adults and children in . the Omaha area have seen tho "Dolls." Israel Trip In accepting the appointment as Women's Chairman, Mrs. Goldstein said, "With the inspiration provided by a recent trip to Israel, and the daily observation of our growing local needs, I feel a real challengein acepting this chairmanship." Work has begun on campaign plans and Mis. Goldstein has promised an announcement in the near future of the top campaign personnel. Newman, a vicepresident and founder of Hinky Dinky Stores Inc. died Tuesday, October 10, after a short illness, Funeral services were held Thursday, October 21, at Temple Israel; burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
