Josephine Weiss Engaged to Stephen Guss Dr. and Mrs. (Dr.) Otto Weiss of Mattoon, Illinois, announce the engagement of their daughter, J o s e p h i n e Antoinette to Stephen Bernard Guss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Guss. Miss Weiss will be graduated in June with a B. S. degree in Speech and Hearing Therapy from Boston University, after having spent her first two years at Washington University in St. Louis. Missouri. She is a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi social sorority and Sigma Alpha Eta national honorary speech, and hearing society. Mr. Guss is a 19(54 graduate of Yale University where he received a B.A. degree, magna cum laude, highest distinction in history, and he is a member of Phi Beta Kappa honorary society. He is currently at Harvard Medical School. A June wedding is planned.

The bridegroom, son of Mrs. Arthur Lapin of Chicago, attended the University of Illinois and is a senior at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, medical honorary, and recently received the HoffmanLaRoche award and the Yarros Scholarship. The couple honeymooned in Miani Beach, Fla. and are now living in Chicago.
