Center Day Camp Has Fine Session The first two weeks of Center Day Camp were 1 termed a "whopping success' by Dik Weiner, its Director. The weather has been most cooperative and the progress made in the instructional swimming area was exceptional. "Many youngsters who have been taking the instructional swimming lessons have progressed at a rapid rate," noted Sadie Anzalone the Swim Director. Crafts projects included the comb cases of leather, braided lanyards of plastic strands, clay animals, mosaics, and many more. Crafts Director Rose Hanek offers projects which are both interesting and educational for the youngsters. Other activities which were popular were the Friday afternoon services, under the direction of Leni Crounse, sports under Ed Matukewicz, q u i e t games, under Abe Gelbart, and drama under Sherri Koom. The Kiddy Kamp program which is headed also by Mrs. Hanek featured private splash parties in its own wading pool, finger and brush painting, creative, and free play time, and other especially pro s c h o o l oriented games. Mrs. Clifford Pawol and Leslie Forbes assist Mrs. Hanek in the pre school program. Registration is still open for the remaining four weeks of Center Day Camp and Kiddy Camp.
