Evening Oolf Series for F^en and Women Another evening scries of golf instruction classes supervised by professional instructor Hugh Heuley, will be conducted Wednesday evenings starting May fi. • The 7:30 p.m. classes to feature three classes indoors al the Center and two on the golf range assist the amateur golfer in developing better form and a more consistent game. Evening' Slimnasfics Glasses for Women A special series of Slimnastics classes for women will beconducted at the Jewish Community Center. The special evening course which starts at 7:30 features gym sessions as well as special sessions in the Center's Swimming Pool. Registration for the series is open in advance or at any of the Wednesday evening sessions. k

Art Contest for Students The Annual Student Art Contest and Show for students and sponsored by the Jewish Community Center was announced. Any grade school, junior high or high school student is eligible to enter, with trophies being awarded to both boys and girls in four different divisions. There is no entry fee and the only restriction is that the art work must hove been completed within the last six months. All entires should be submitted to the Center's Activities Office and should be in before May 1. A special showing of the entries plus the awards will be given. Over 100 students are expected to enter the contest to be judged by professional artists.
Evening Outdoor Cooking Session Slated Men interested in developing their skills and techniques in outdoor cookery using the popular charcoal bar-b-q style patio units will have the opportunity to receive unusual instruction plus hints and suggestions in a one-session course to be offered by the Center. Conducting the outdoor cooking class, for men only, will be an experienced chef and kitchen expert. There is no fee for the course with only a limited number of registrations being accepted. The one session instruction course is being slated for a Wednesday evening, and will be "conducted in a west Omaha location. Registrations for the free course may be made by calling the Center's Activities Department. * * •'
Tutoring Service Available When- leedei Helping students with school problems or helping students who want advanced instruction in a particular course of study is the goal of the Center's Tutoring Service. Personal individual instruction is provided by qualified college students or graduate teachers. No charge is made by the Center for its services'while a small hourly charge is made by the individual tutors providing the instruction. Arrangements for tutoring or possible necessary testing may be arranged by calling the Center's Activities Office, 342131$.
