The Annual Student Art Contest and Show for students and sponsored by the .Jewish Community Center was announced, Any grade .school, junior high or high school student is eligible to enter, will) trophies being awarded to both boys and girls in four different division;;, There is no entry fee and the only restriction is that the art work must have been completed within the last six months. Children's Activities Opening Up ' A Sunday afternoon crafts club and program, coin club, science club, tumbling and gymnastics classes and a puppet theater workshop are among the new activities being opened up for youth participation at the Center. Additional groups open to youths include the Center Dance Band which meets for rehearsals each Sunday under professional direction, a stamp club, swimming learn competition and ti<uning ,plus learn to swim classes.
