Her father is General Moshe Dayan, former Chief of Staff of the Israel Army. Her mother heads Maskit, Israel's celebrated village crafts industry. Her grandfather, Samuel Dayan is the author of a new book, "Pioneers in Israel" to be published this month. A member of the Knesset, he is known in Israel as the author of numerous books written in Hebrew. His new book has been edited by granddaughter, Yael Dayan.
