A novel contest will be . staged over radio station WOW at 10 p. m. aext Wednesday, evening, July 29, by the Center Players Guild, nnder the sponsorship of Mrs. Herman Jahr. Two ten-minute one-act plays will be presented, one consisting of an all-male cast and the other of an allfeminine cast. The listeners are to determine the winner. The losing cast Twill have to treat the winners to a; dinner, and as a consequence the rival camps are going over the available plays very carefully and as-e casting very slowly. Mrs. Jahr has fesked all who can listen in to eitherfwrite or phone or telegraph in their? choice.
