It is fitting that Philadelphia, the cradle of liberty, have the honor of planning and conducting the celebration. Some misguised enthusiasts have suggested to Colonel David C. Collier,- Director General of the Celebrations, that there be a ''Jewish;Section" in the parade. His reply should make the;pit>ponents of the idea think. In favoring the project, he says, in part: "I "should like to see such a section, as will help the Jewish people to place themselves as a nation among nation^ through the-up-buiWing of Palestine."
