EXPANDING WAYS WE MEET CRITICAL NEEDS IN OUR JEWISH COMMUNITY CARING FOR THOSE WHO ARE VULNERABLE... • Secured matching funds from national foundations doubling aid for local Holocaust survivors.

WHILE INVESTING IN YOUTH FOR A STRONG JEWISH FUTURE Shiri’s needs took a back seat when her dad moved to Israel and stopped paying child support during the year it took to diagnose her brother’s illness. Federation made Jewish camp possible for Shiri to “reset” her mental health and repair positive feelings about Israel and Jewish life.*

• NJ’s FY24 budget includes Federation advocacy wins: … a 40% increase in Holocaust survivor assistance … for the first time in history, funding for kosher meals on wheels.

Our teen grant enabled Liyah to go on March of the Living, retracing Holocaust victims’ steps in Poland then going to Israel to celebrate our Jewish homeland. Federation helps teens deepen Jewish identity and education through immersive peer travel.
