• Gifting PJ Library books and family events for young families; • Offering Life & Legacy endowment training and incentives for organizations to secure their future; • Funding Hebrew Free Loan of NJ for rough patches, business needs, and fertility and adoption; • Establishing the Cemetery Corporation to ensure perpetual care after synagogues and survivors are gone.
Combating antisemitism, bias, and security threats • Advocating with elected leaders to ensure the interests of the Jewish community are top of mind; • Working with allies of different religions and ethnicities through education and relationship building; • Briefings with law enforcement, security assessments for organizations, security training for organizations and individuals.
ASSISTING organizations to secure funding beyond grants received from Federation FOR: • Trauma- informed care and safety net services for Holocaust survivors; • Security grants to make facilities and the people who use them safer; • COVID Payroll Protection benefits, saving jobs and keeping services going; • Identifying and helping secure grant money to stem hunger among the e lderly.
