MAHARASHTRA PRAYER FESTIVAL, SANGLI | MARCH 13–15, 2026
During the Maharashtra Prayer Festival, a remarkable judgment from the High Court quashed the police order that had cancelled the meetings, permitting the Prayer Festival to proceed. The gatherings continued uninterrupted on the second and third days, drawing nearly 50,000 people each day in person, while lakhs more joined through social media
Dr. Paul Dhinakaran ministered from Deuteronomy 7:13, asserting that the Lord loves, blesses, and increases His people, and emphasised that miracles come through Jesus Christ, who bore sickness and curses on the cross. He also spoke on overcoming struggles through faith and receiving God’s wisdom that leads to restoration.
Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran shared from Psalm 46:1, encouraging that God is a present help in times of trouble. Bro. Samuel Dhinakaran spoke from Acts 1:4–5 on the empowering work of the Holy Spirit. Worship led by Sis. Stella Ramola and Bro. Daniel Davidson united the congregation in sincere praise.
A powerful move of the Holy Spirit was witnessed throughout the meetings, with the tangible
presence of God felt among the people.
Many experienced healing, restoration, and deliverance, as chains of sin and addictions were broken. As a result, multitudes surrendered their hearts to the love of Jesus.
Pastors’ Blessing Meet | March 13, 2026
The Pastors’ Blessing Meet strengthened and encouraged many pastors, many of whom received a fresh anointing and a touch of God. Dr. Paul Dhinakaran prayed for them, asking God to fill them with His life and bless their ministries. Referring to Revelation 10:7, 11, he reminded them to stand firm in their calling, faithfully proclaim God’s Word, and lead people to live right before Him. Bro. Samuel Dhinakaran then shared from Isaiah 55:9, encouraging them to trust God’s ways and believe that He will expand their ministries and provide for their needs.
Partners’ Blessing Meet | March 14, 2026
The Jesus Calls Partners Meet brought around 1,500 ministry partners together in faith and gratitude to God. Testimonies of miraculous healing, deliverance, and divine provision were shared, glorifying His work in their lives. Dr. Paul Dhinakaran encouraged each partner as part of God’s family, assuring them of restoration and His abiding peace. Bro. Samuel Dhinakaran then prayed especially for the students to excel in their studies. Individual prayers were offered for every partner, bringing God’s comfort and a fresh touch of His Spirit into their lives.
Dearly beloved, as we enter this new month of May, the Lord gives this promise for you from Psalm 102:16: “The Lord will rebuild Zion and appear in His glory.” This assurance is not limited to Zion; it is for you today. The same God who rebuilds Zion is stepping into your situation now He is going to rebuild what has been broken and restore your peace. What concerns you concerns Him, and He will not leave it unfinished. His glory will not remain hidden but will be revealed in your life in the days ahead.
The Word says that He loves the gates of Zion (Psalm 87:2), and He calls you not forsaken (Isaiah 62:4), even when your present situation makes you feel otherwise. You may be wondering why things are delayed, why your efforts are not yielding results, or why doors seem to remain closed. You may be burdened about your children’s future, running from place to place trying to secure admission,
seeking help from others, or struggling to arrange finances for their studies. These concerns can weigh heavily on your heart and leave you frustrated.
But in the midst of all these, the Lord gently reminds you, “I remember you” (Psalm 40:17). He has not overlooked your situation, nor has He forgotten your need. Even now, He is working quietly behind the scenes in ways you may not yet see. Doors that have remained shut for a long time will begin to open, and help will come at the right moment. What you have been unable to arrange through your own efforts, God Himself will bring together in His perfect timing.
The Word of God declares, “They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated” (Isaiah 61:4). This is what the Lord will do in your life. What has remained stagnant for years will start to flow forward, and what seemed broken will slowly take shape again. The waiting season is coming to an end, and a new season of restoration is just beginning. This work of God will not stop with you alone; your children and even future generations will walk in this blessing. What looks like ruins today will soon become a testimony of God’s faithfulness, and you will see His hand clearly at work.
FROM LOSS TO DIVINE RESTORATION OF YOUR FORTUNE
“I will bring My people Israel back from exile… They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit.” (Amos 9:14)
There are seasons when life feels like continuous effort without visible results. You may have worked hard, yet progress seems slow, and the returns are not what you expected. At times, it may even feel like everything is moving in the opposite direction. But the Lord is saying that this will not remain the same.
The Scripture reminds us, “The bricks have fallen down, but we will rebuild with dressed stone” (Isaiah 9:10). When God rebuilds, He does not simply restore what was lost; He strengthens it and establishes it in a better way. If your business or profession has been a place of struggle without profit or promotion, the Lord will open new paths before you. He will give you wisdom, new ideas, and the right opportunities that will bring growth and stability.
You will begin to see the fruit of your labour in a way you have not experienced before. The meaning of “plant vineyards and drink their wine” is that you will truly enjoy what you have worked for. The Lord will guard your efforts so that what belongs to you is not taken away
(Psalm 128:2). He will bring satisfaction into your work, and your life will become fruitful and fulfilling.
He has promised abundance, like a land flowing with milk and honey (Deuteronomy 8:10), and He delights in blessing His people (Numbers 24:1).
We see this clearly in the life of Job. He was once a man of great wealth and blessing, but in a single season, he lost everything: his possessions, his family, and even his health. Yet, in the midst of that deep loss, he chose to hold on to God and did not turn away from Him. In the end, the Lord did not just restore what he had lost but blessed him with even greater abundance than before. “The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part” (Job 42:12). His latter days were more blessed than his beginning, showing us that God’s restoration is never partial but it is complete and overflowing.
In the same way, the life of David reminds us that even when everything seems lost, God is able to bring it all back. There was a time when David faced a devastating loss, and even those around him turned against him. Yet, when he turned to the Lord and sought His direction, God strengthened him and enabled him to recover everything that had been taken. Not one thing was missing. “David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken… Nothing was missing, young or old… David brought everything back.” (1 Samuel 30: 18–19). This is the faithfulness of God. He restores fully and establishes what He restores.
The Bible assures, “After this I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tent. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it” (Acts 15:16). Even if you feel that what belonged to your family is slipping away, the Lord will restore it in His own way. Your efforts will not be in vain, and the situation you are facing now will not remain the same. The Lord will bring change and establish you in His blessing.
FROM STRUGGLES TO RESTORATION OF PEACE IN YOUR FAMILY
“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten.” (Joel 2:25–28)
Family is God’s design, created to be a place of love, support, and peace. Yet, many families go through seasons where that peace is disturbed. Small struggles grow into larger burdens, and the joy that once filled the home begins to fade quietly.
But God has not forgotten your family. He is able to restore not only the years that feel lost but also the peace and joy that once defined your home.
The testimony of Brother Dhayalan reflects this truth in a very real way. He once lived peacefully with his wife and daughters, and their home was filled with joy. However, when the Covid pandemic affected his work at a two-wheeler company in Chennai, everything began to change. He moved to Puducherry and tried to sustain himself by selling spare parts, but despite his efforts, the business did not succeed. For three long years, he struggled, and during this time, the pressure of the situation began to affect the atmosphere at home. The peace they once enjoyed was slowly disturbed. In that difficult season, he remembered the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in Adyar, where he had once gone for prayer. With faith in his heart, he visited the Prayer Tower in
Puducherry. There, both he and his wife began to volunteer, choosing to draw closer to God even in the midst of their struggle. When I visited to pray for the partners there, he shared the condition of his family. As we prayed, the Lord gave a clear word that what he had lost would be restored in double measure. Within one week, something unexpected happened. A friend came forward and helped him regain his previous job. What seemed delayed for years turned around so quickly. Today, his family lives in happiness and peace once again, and his daughters are actively involved in the Jesus Calls youth ministry. What was once a season of strain has now become a testimony of God’s restoring grace.
In the same way, the Lord will step into your family situation. He will heal what has been strained, restore understanding where there have been misunderstanding and fill your home once again with His peace and presence.
FROM BROKEN REPUTATION TO RESTORED HONOUR
“You will be called by a new name.” (Isaiah 62:2)
There are times when a person’s name is tarnished either because of circumstances, misunderstandings, or by the words of others. It can create a sense of hesitation and make you withdraw from people, wondering how you are being seen.
But the Lord is the One who restores honour. He sees beyond every accusation, every misunderstanding, and every moment of your weakness. If your name has been affected, He will lift you up again in His time.
As it is written, He will give you praise and honour in the very places where you experienced shame (Zephaniah 3:19–20).
The testimony of Sister Devonitha from Kolkata reflects this beautifully. A postgraduate engineer, she was transferred during the pandemic to a male-dominated plant in Jamshedpur. In that environment, because of her Christian faith and her gender, she faced
mockery and was not given the respect she deserved. Despite these challenges, she remained faithful and continued her responsibilities, even while travelling long distances to care for her ailing mother. When she attended a Jesus Calls Prophetic Prayer Training in Dimapur, prayer was offered for her, and a prophetic word was given that the Lord would surprise her upon her return. She held onto that word with faith. Soon after, her transfer back near her home was approved. What was once a place where she experienced disregard and difficulty was replaced with a situation that brought dignity, relief, and peace into her life, also allowing her to care for her mother without any struggle.
The Lord who restored her honour will do the same for you. He will turn what caused dishonour into a place of dignity and establish you in His favour.
FROM FADING GLORY TO THE RESTORATION OF GOD’S GLORY
“The glory of this present house will be greater than the former.”
(Haggai 2:9)
There may be moments when you feel that God’s presence has faded from your life. You may wonder if you will ever experience that closeness again. But His promise is clear; the latter glory will be greater than the former.
When you seek Him sincerely, His presence returns in a deeper and more powerful way. Bro. Mahendran from Tirunelveli experienced this restoration in his life. For a long time, his life was overshadowed by an addiction to alcohol, which brought pain and trouble into his family. The peace that God intended for him was missing, and his life felt far from what it should have been. But God did not leave him there. As he came in touch with the Jesus Calls Ministry and received prayer support, he was completely delivered from his addiction. Yet even after that, he faced another challenge,
heavy business debts that felt like a struggle that would never end. In that condition, he attended a Prayer Festival, seeking a breakthrough. During the time of prayer, a prophetic word was given that God’s hand was upon him to give him a “perfect reward.” At that very moment, he experienced divine peace and strength within his heart, something he had not felt a long time.
The Lord did not stop there. In the days that followed, his debts were settled, and complete freedom came into his life. Today, his life stands as a testimony of restoration. What was once overshadowed is now filled with God’s glory, and he serves the Lord with great joy and liberty.
The God of miracles will do the same for you. He will restore what has been lost, rebuild what has been broken, and bring freedom even in areas that seem impossible. As you commit your life into His hands, you will begin to experience His restoring power and His glory in a deeper way. He will lift you up and use you beyond what you have imagined.
Just as Joseph was raised to guide nations (Genesis 41:42), the Lord will give you wisdom and favour, and even those in authority will recognise His grace upon your life. He will fill you with His Spirit and grant you the grace to speak His word (Revelation 10:11).
As you continue to seek Him, your life will be transformed day by day, and His glory will be seen more and more. As it is written, you will be “transformed into His image with everincreasing glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18). May His restoring hand rest upon you and lead you into a life filled with His fullness.
PRAYER: Loving Lord Jesus, let Your restoring hand come upon Your people and rebuild every broken area, bringing peace, provision, and wholeness. Turn every trial into a testimony, lift every burden, and establish each life by Your grace. Thank You Loving Father in Jesus' Name. Amen.

In Ezekiel 37:14, the Lord declares, “I will put my Spirit in you and you will live.” This promise was first spoken to a people who had lost everything. The Israelites, exiled for many years, found themselves in a state of despair. Their cry was honest and heart-breaking: “Our bones are dried up and our hope is lost; we are cut off.” They could not imagine a future. Life, as they knew it, seemed over.
To illustrate
their condition, God gave the prophet Ezekiel a vision of a valley filled with dry bones. This was not merely a picture of physical death but a representation of spiritual emptiness and lifeless faith. The bones were scattered, disconnected, and utterly devoid of life. It was a scene of complete hopelessness.
Yet, what seems impossible to man is never beyond God. The same God who led Ezekiel into that valley also demonstrated His power to transform it. By His word and through His Spirit, those dry bones began to come together, flesh formed, and breath entered them. What
was once dead stood alive again.
This vision reveals a profound truth that only God can breathe life into what is dead. Restoration is not merely about external change; it is both physical and spiritual. When God restores, He revives the soul, renews the mind, and rebuilds what was broken.
Perhaps you find yourself identifying with the Israelites today. You may feel as though your life has reached a standstill. Dreams may seem buried, relationships strained, health weakened, or faith shaken. You may even be asking, “When will I see light again?”
The message of this passage speaks directly into such moments. God’s promise was not limited to Israel alone. The same God who restored them is able to restore you. When His Spirit moves, everything changes. Where there is His Spirit, there is deliverance and life.
Jesus Himself came into this world to bring that life - life in its fullest measure. His mission was not only to save but also to restore and to bring back what was lost and revive what was dead. This testimony beautifully illustrates this truth. Amuda from Bangalore suffered from a bleeding disorder for seven years, seeking many treatments without relief. Doctors advised removing her uterus, and amidst this pain, her husband left her, leaving her weak, burdened, and hopeless. In her desperation, she attended a Jesus Calls prayer meeting. There, prayers was offered for her marking the beginning of her restoration. She fasted and prayed fervently. While in the hospital, when she was being treated, she saw a bright light and it was so intense. She felt
the touch of God. She heard a voice saying, when you are sick, would I not heal you? At that moment, her illness and all the blockages in her body left. God performed a supernatural miracle. Without any surgery, she was healed completely. After that, her husband also returned back to her. Today, she is leading a happy family life.
Her story is a reminder that God’s promises are not theoretical instead they are real and active. What He did then, He continues to do today.
God is not limited by the severity of your circumstances. Whether it is a physical condition, a broken family, a struggling mind, or a weary spirit, He is able to restore all things. Even what seems immovable can begin to move again. Even what appears dead can come back to life.
So do not give up. When everything around you suggests that it is over, God is just beginning. His restoration often starts in the very place where hope ends. Invite His Spirit into your life. Allow Him to breathe into your dry places. Trust that He is working, even when you cannot see it. The valley of dry bones is not the end of your story; it is the setting for a miracle.
As you hold on to His promise, may you experience His restoring power in every area of your life. May your strength be renewed, your faith revived, and your joy restored.
For the Lord who once raised dry bones to life is the same Lord who declares over you today: You will live. And not only will you live but He will restore you again, even in double measure helping you enjoy His abundant life.

What began as a setback turned into a victory when a High Court judgment allowed the Maharashtra Prayer Festival to continue. Nearly 50,000 people gathered in person each day, with lakhs joining online. God’s presence moved powerfully, breaking yearlong addictions, restoring families, and drawing many to experience the love of Jesus. Pastors received a fresh anointing, and about 1,500 partners were personally prayed for and strengthened in the Lord.
*It was also a great joy to celebrate the Risen Lord on Easter Sunday across all three services at CSI Wesley Church, Secunderabad, along with my beloved wife, Sis. Evangeline and my son, Samuel Dhinakaran. As we shared the message of the resurrection, that in Jesus Christ, death is defeated, fear is removed, and believers have victory, peace, and eternal hope, many experienced His living presence in a powerful way.
*Last month alone 1.5 lakh people walked into the Prayer Towers, received personal prayer and counselling, and experienced God’s answers in their lives. At the same time, 3.9 lakh people reached out through Telephone Prayer Towers and found comfort, strength, and renewed faith through a simple phone call.

- SHAPING THE NEXT GENERATION
This summer, we are stepping forward in
faith to invest in the lives of children because every child matters to God and deserves to know that they are loved and chosen by Him. Through your support, we are able to create a space where children can experience God in a personal way. Last year, more than 15,000 children from 105 Prayer Towers were touched by God’s love, and this year we are prayerfully expecting 20,000 children to take part. The theme for this year is “Signet Ring” (Haggai 2:23). This six-day camp is filled with action songs, Bible lessons, stories, activities, and prayer times that gently lead children closer to the Lord. KATIE’S MINISTRY
Speaking of little children, it brings me great joy to share something very special. My little granddaughter, Katie, has started a YouTube channel specially for children to help them grow in the knowledge of the Lord in a simple and engaging way. During this Lent season, she faithfully shared 40 short videos, each with a Bible verse and a brief thought, and they reached nearly 1.5 lakh viewers. My dear friend, may God bless you as you reflect on this month’s promise. It brings great joy to remind you that God has beautiful and purposeful plans for your life. The promise word for this month is from Psalm 72:2: “May He judge your people in righteousness, your afflicted ones with justice.” This verse reveals God’s heart for leadership, one marked by righteousness and justice.
God often entrusts His people with leadership, whether in great or small ways. You may already hold such a position, or God may be preparing you for one. Leadership is not merely a role; it is a responsibility given by God, and He desires that it be exercised with integrity and fairness.
Consider the example of Solomon. When he became king, he did not ask for wealth or power. Instead, he humbly prayed, “Lord, I must govern Your people. Give me
a wise and discerning heart to distinguish between right and wrong.” This prayer pleased God, and He granted Solomon wisdom beyond measure. Because of this, Solomon’s reign was marked by justice and divine favor.
In the same way, we are called to lead with righteousness. True leadership is rooted in the fear of the Lord. When God entrusts us with responsibility even at a young age, He expects us to steward it faithfully. We must lead without bias, treating everyone with fairness, and making decisions that honor Him.
I remember a moment from my school days when I was first appointed as a class monitor. My teacher handed me a badge and said, “You are not just a student anymore; you are a leader. I trust you to be fair to your friends, to those who oppose you, and to everyone in the class. Lead with discipline, honesty, and responsibility.” Those words shaped my understanding of leadership. It is not about
authority alone, but about accountability and trust.
Leadership carries influence. The way we lead affects the lives of others. When leaders act unjustly, people either become discouraged or oppressed. But when leadership is rooted in righteousness, it brings growth, peace, and order. That is why justice is not optional; it is essential.
We have also witnessed painful examples of leadership gone wrong. In recent years, an incident in Sathanakulam, Tamil Nadu, revealed the tragic consequences of abusing power. It was during the COVID time while a father and his son were running a shop that they exceeded the time limit to close the shop by a few minutes. As they kept the shop open for business the police found that their shop was open and they took them to the police station and beat them mercilessly. They stripped the father and son of their clothes and made them naked and beat them black and blue. For four days the sound of their torture and their screaming was heard by the witnesses around them. They couldn't bear it and there was blood stains all over the police jail room. It was a terrible sight. As a result of this brutal assault both father and son died. The verdict came just recently from the court on the accused policemen. The court said this is an extreme abuse of power and decreed death sentence to all those 9 policemen who murdered them.
Such incidents remind us how dangerous it is when authority is misused. Power should never become a tool for oppression or
arrogance. No matter the accusation or circumstance, it is never right to mistreat others. This is precisely why God emphasizes justice. A leader must reflect His character and be righteous, compassionate, and fair.
As God’s people, we are called to be leaders in His hands. This means laying aside personal bias, favoritism, and prejudice. We must not favor some while mistreating others. Instead, we should continually seek God’s guidance, just as Solomon did, asking for the wisdom to do what is right.
Let us remember: the people we lead belong to God. We are only stewards of what He has entrusted to us. Personal struggles, emotions, or preferences should never influence our decisions. When we lead with integrity, God is pleased, and He blesses our leadership.
PRAYER
Loving Lord, Thank You for Your desire to lift me in life so that I lift others around me. I come before You with a humble heart. I surrender to Your will in the place You have assigned me. Teach me to do what is right in Your sight. Grant me wisdom to make godly decisions and lead with righteousness. Let my leadership bring blessing to the people around me. May those under my care experience peace, growth, and joy. Let Your Holy Spirit lead help me to lead with justice and compassion. Deliver me from bias and pride, and fill me with the fear of the Lord. Make my life a shining light and may Your name be glorified through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
May God raise you up as a just and faithful leader.
“But as for me, I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; you are my God, do not delay.” This is the cry of King David in Psalm 40:17.
Accordingly, 1 Timothy 2:4 conveys God's desire of wanting “all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” This can happen only when a person accepts Jesus as God, and receives the forgiveness that comes from Him. God came to earth as Jesus so that we can be filled with His Spirit and live a holy life in God's presence.
In Matthew 18:14, Jesus says, “...it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.” It means we are called to live as 'children of the light and children of the day' because 'we do not belong to the night or to the darkness' (1 Thessalonians 5:5).
The Lord is our Redeemer and Saviour, who forgives our sins. He is our Shepherd, who guides us
along the path of life. His love for us is so big that He thinks of us all the time.
Thoughts of peace
God says in Jeremiah 29:11,
“...I know the plans I have for you... plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
This world we are in is full of Satan's viles. But the Lord 'who gave Himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father', will help us stand against wicked forces (Galatians 1:4).
The Bible confirms that our enemy is the devil, who prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8).
God made us in His image so we could be like Him. But, sin separated us from God at the beginning of the world. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve - the first couple created by God - had the privilege of enjoying God's presence closely. They could hear the sound of the Lord God as He walked among them in the garden in the cool of the day (Genesis 3:8).
Into such a place guarded by God's Spirit, the devil gained entry to deceive the first man and woman created in the image of God. Both
Adam and Eve fell for Satan's temptation, and lost their intimacy with God.
Psalm 143:3 says, it's the devil that makes us dwell in darkness. But the Lord, who is the true Light, gives light to every person born in this world (John 1:9).
Just as the devil appeared in the Garden of Eden long ago, he is actively roaming on the earth even today to destroy the souls of people that rightfully belong to God.
I like to narrate a story of a smart, young girl of 16, who loved to have a lot of fun. Her avenues of entertainment kept her from seeking God and His love. She found the attractions of life more interesting than a personal relationship with God. But the Lord who understood her thoughts afar off (Psalm 139:2) showed mercy and filled her heart with His love. Everything began to change in that girl's life as she began to hear God speak to her. God's words touched her and made her repent of her old ways. She gave her life into God's control by surrendering her future into His hands. The Lord saw her tears and led her like a gentle Shepherd - exactly the way He was with King David.
That girl blossomed into a prayer warrior, and even to her old age the Lord promised to be with her. Her family was also blessed because of her, and has prospered for generations. She became a spiritual leader, who shared the love of Jesus with millions of people. To this day, the Lord's strong arm is holding her as she continues to share the good news that Jesus is alive.
That girl is none other than myself. I am still
amazed, wondering how the Lord watches over me and is mindful of me.
The Lord understands our every thought (Jeremiah 23:20)
The Bible paints a moving picture of David and Solomon in 1 Chronicles 28:9, where King David is in conversation with his son, Solomon. He says, “As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He willcast you off forever.”
The Lord, indeed, is God. He searches our hearts and understands every thought. Genesis 6:5 declares: 'The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.'
God called David as a man after His own heart (1 Samuel 13:14) as David's heart was aligned with God's will. Yet, when David desired to build a house for God, and couldn't, God fulfilled the plan through Solomon. The blessings of David fell on Solomon because of David's heart. Yes, the Lord will give what is good to you (Psalm 85:12).
When Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran heard the call of God to start an academic institution to impart world-class education to students from around the world, he had no money in hand.
But the Lord, who gave him the vision, provided for him. He had to cross personal tragedies such as the loss of his dear daughter in a road accident before witnessing the fulfilment of God's larger purpose - the founding of Karunya University.
Similarly, God loves - and looks fora person who pleases Him. Anyone whose heart is right before God, and longing for His touch, can expect to receive God's favour to witness the impossible happen.
Psalm 33:9 describes God's power: “For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.”
Trust the Lord to carry you through. The Lord will do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think when you hold on to Him.
God's plan lasts generations
“The plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations.”
(Psalm 33:11)
In Isaiah 51:2, we read that when God called Abraham he was only one man who, after being blessed by God, multiplied. Matthew 1:1-17 narrates the genealogy of Jesus, beginning with Abraham. The Lord is true to His
promise. He will never let go of your hand when you put your trust in Him. The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24).
Just like Abraham, who believed in God till the very end, the Bible talks of another man, Job, whose firm faith at a time of immense adversity drew God's attention. “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him,” says Job with conviction. (Job 13:15) And he reaffirms: “But God knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold” (Job 23:10).
Job's unshakeable trust in God and implicit obedience to His Maker comes through in Job 42:2, where he says, “I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.”
Soon after, we read in Job 42:10 that, “The Lord restored Job’s losses, and gave him twice as much as he had before.” Blessed in double measure!
Dearly beloved, what do you find when you take stock of your faith? Can you say that your faith is true and steady? Or, is it tossed about when difficulties arise, leaving you worried and hopeless?
Encourage yourself and be inspired by looking at great personalities of faith, such as Abraham, David, and Daniel. Their lives were not easy. All their troubles were beyond their capacity to handle. Yet, they knew that God was mighty to save. Each of them were blessed by God for their unwavering faith. Just like them, you can also cherish a divine intervention when you commit your life to God.
In my family, all of us experience God personally every day. Right from when Bro. Dhinakaran started doing the Lord's ministry as a single man, till now where we serve God as a family, we can testify to the fulfilment of God's precious plan at every stage of our lives. By empowering us with the Holy Spirit, the Lord reminds us He cares. Such a blessing is yours today. Accept it with reverence, thanking God for His thoughts about you.
