Following the attainment of his education degree, Jerry Gibson was determined to secure a position as a teacher and coach in a prestigious Texas school district. Eventually, he succeeded in combining his passion for academics and athletics in a role that allowed him to fulfill both interests. Throughout his early career, Dr. Gibson held diverse positions, including teacher, head coach, athletic director, assistant principal, and ultimately, full-time principal. As he progressed, he decided to dedicate his career to school administration, recognizing it as a pathway to enacting substantial change within his community and the local education system.
