Questions we ponder... HOW DOES CHRIST OFFER US A STATE OF BEING EMOTIONALLY & SPIRITUALLY FREE FROM DANGER OR THREAT? We must trade security of this world and our own insecurity for security in Jesus. Our hearts light up at this topic because this is truly the reason Jesus came down to earth. He came to show us that he knows what it’s like to be separated from God. The longing that we know, he knows too. During his time here on earth, Jesus broke tradition to seek the lost and reveal his true nature and heart to us. Jesus spoke to the woman at the well in John 4 about this living water that satisfies our thirst unlike anything else. We find his adamant love for us and this assurance of who we are only in knowing and being known by Jesus.
Let's Take This To Jesus ~ Jesus, thank you for caring so much about my heart —that you would come down and bare the pains of being human just to show me your love, life, way and truth. The more secure I am in you, the less insecure I am about myself. Understanding this in my soul strengthens my resolve to go out and be who you call me to be. Thank you for how much you love me.
