Need more information or help bidding on a steer? If you are unable to be at the sale to bid on a steer, contact any of the Families or Members listed throughout the catalog to assist with your purchases.

Want to turn that steer into steak? Our clubs will assist in processing arrangements if you require assistance. We have reserved a number of hooks at different local processing facilities if you require. All processing costs, unless previous arrangments have been made, are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Want to resell your steer? No problem! Let Rhett or Chad (Whitewood Livestock Sales) know and they can assist you. There will be a regular feeder sale the Tuesday following the 4-H sale.

My name is Jack Mannle and this is my 8th and final year in 4-H. My steer’s name is Buddy and he will taste great on your plate.

I have learned a lot being a part of the Whitewood 4-H beef club. I’ve made a lot of great memories and life long friends. This is my final steer to sell in 4-H so I would like to take a minute to thank all my leaders and every person who has supported my journey through 4-H.

Next year I plan on attending Lakeland college for beef science.

Hello, my name is Brielle Johnson I am 17 years old and this is my last year in 4H as I am moving to work at Indian Head Animal Clinic as a vet tech assistant and receptionist.

This year I am continuing to donate half the profit of my market steer to a medical charity of the buyers choice. Over all of my years in 4H we have donated $16,411.75!

Hi, my name is Sierra Beutler. I am 17 years old and this is my 11th year in 4-H.

This year I am taking an Angus cross heifer named Josie and a Simmental/Angus steer named Landon – he loves to eat!

I have had a busy 4-H year taking my calves to shows in Yorkton, Regina and Kennedy.

When I am not busy on the farm I enjoy volleyball and curling.

Landon is a great home raised steer that would taste perfect on your BBQ!

Hi my name is Ryder Beutler and I have been in 4-H for eleven years!

This year I have a Simmental heifer and cow/calf pair, and a steer named Bo. Bo is a Simmental/Angus cross and is home raised. I have had a busy 4-H year taking my calves to shows in Brandon, Weyburn, Regina, Kennedy and Estevan.

When I’m not busy with 4-H, I enjoy curling, reffing and baseball.

Bo is a super stout steer that I’m sure will give you lots of great tasting steaks for your BBQ!

Hi my name is Bailey White. I’m 16 years old and this is my 9th year in 4-H.

This year I’m showing a steer named Chuck, a heifer named Alani and a cow calf pair Matilda and Teeter.

Chuck is a Maine cross who loves to eat and lay under his fan.

When I’m not in school I’m always barrel racing, showing cows or helping my parents on the farm.

This is one steer that’s ready for bbq season.

This year I am showing a steer named Ferdinand! He is a Simmental/Clubby cross that we bought from a sale in the fall. Ferdinand has been to lots of shows this spring and was Reserve grand Champion at the Manitoba Royal Fair.

I love playing golf and am a goalie in hockey. I can’t wait for summer and hope we get lots of nice days to swim in our pool!

I think Ferdinand would be a great steer to fill your freezer!

My name is Sam Surridge, and this is my fourth year in 4-H.

Today, I am proud to present my market steer, Allan, for your consideration.

The money I earn from selling Allan will help me save for my education after high school.

Allan comes from strong genetics, which should produce high-quality beef with great flavor and excellent marbling throughout the meat. As of May 31, he weighed in at 1342 lbs.

Based on the current beef market, I am hoping to receive between $4.50 and $4.75 per pound.
