The paper hat

“The newspaper is the only way to go!”
Jim Albergotti

“Not long after we opened, business died down and we weren’t sure why. At that point we had not done any advertising. We started running a daily ad in The Times and Democrat emphasizing our specials of the day and menu features and that turned the tide for us. We’ve been doing a daily ad ever since. The newspaper is the only way to go. We’ve tried billboards, radio and other miscellaneous advertising, but newspaper has been the best value we have found over many years. Every time we have discontinued our daily ad, we’ve had a reduction in business, so we’re married to that. We believe in it… it works…it’s just part of what we do.”

Look what a difference a year makes…

Celebrating our One Year Anniversary at the Claire Chapin Epps Family YMCA.

“I’ve lost over 30 pounds since Istarted coming to the Y. The best part is they watch our kids while me and my wife work out. There’s something for the whole family.” - Mitchell

“The group exercise classes are my favorite. I’ve met so many new friends this past year that have the same goal as me… to get fit!”

“Ilove the swimming lessons at the Y. My son has built confidence in the water and is able to go on his own with no floats. He can swim with his friends and Ihave peace of mind that he not only has learned how to swim but to be safe around the pool.” - Maggie

JOIN THESE AND OTHERS WHO HAVE CHANGED THEIR LIFESTYLE THIS PAST YEAR. TO HELP YOU GET STARTED WE ARE OFFERING $1 JOINING FEE UNTIL NOVEMBER 5TH. For more information on joining come by the YMCA at 62nd Ave. North, Hwy 17 Bypass or call 843-449-9622 www.coastalcarolinaymca.org
