PUGAD — PROPOSED EXECUTIVE VILLAGE
Instructor:Professor. MELBA ANDALECIO-PAUAL
In collaboration with:
Maxxeene De Guzman
Eina Segismundo
Althea Mariae Panganiban
Role: Visualization, Rendering, & Row House designs

The proposed subdivision also requires a design that reflects the values of Filipinos specifically, “close family ties”, with prime consideration for sustainability, community identity, and a sense of belonging. Accordingly, “pugad or nest” as a concept is also applied in the design. Nests are known as secluded shelters where eggs evolve and become mature. Hence, just like a nest, this village would also serve as a sheltered sanctuary where life and the community, as a whole, grow and develop.

G-MAJOR LIBRARY
Instructor: Professor. JOHN PAUL L. CATEDRILLA
Cebu’s culture and story are deeply intertwined with music, a passion that can be traced back to the region’s roots. One of the most significant contributions to Cebu’s economy is guitar making. Cebu is renowned as the guitar capital of the Philippines, celebrated for producing durable, world-class guitars at affordable prices. This tradition of guitar making has become a hallmark of Cebuano heritage, attracting travelers who often purchase these high-quality instruments as souvenirs before leaving Cebu.

Curated Spaces of Art — Institution Architecture as
a Social Reflection
Instructor: Professor. RASAM EDEL SAMONTE RAÑOSA
The facade is inspired by the stony appearance of the Sto. Niño de Tondo Parish Church. A bare concrete facade was chosen for its modern look. The initial sketches were influenced by the dynamic distribution of compositions found in the Manila Tondo slums, resulting in a unique and interesting design.

Curated Spaces of Art — Institution Architetcture as a Social Reflection
