CONCEPT: Manipal has roots of roman architecture. Hence this project incorporates roman architecture elements like Corinthian columns, Arched windows, pediments etc. AREA STATEMENT: FAR:2.5 Built up area:500m^2 Washrooms act as a buffer to avoid direct heat gain from the south into the bedrooms

PROJECT BRIEF:To design a shopping mall in a commercial area, Mangalore. AIM: To provide a comfortable shopping experience in terms of accessibility, connectivity, thermal and personal comfort. Sustainable methods used wherever possible. CONCEPT:
“Bringing the Outside to the Inside” Using irregular stacked forms to create negative spaces, which will be utilized as nature pockets, allowing human interaction with the outside. These pockets create a feeling of “ZEN” in customers and acts as a plaza which can be used by the mall to attract people to food/any other goods kiosks, thereby increasing profit.
