We are blessed each summer to celebrate the Feast of Our Holy Father St. Benedict on July 11. For a great many of our monks this also marks the anniversary of their Monastic Profession; it is truly a day of great jubilation at the Abbey. This year, we would like to invite all of you to join us in praying a novena to St. Benedict, from July 2-11, in honor of all of those who have served as Spiritual Fathers in our lives. I was blessed to have the encouragement and support of not only my parents, but of my pastor growing up. Had it not been for their strong example of Faith, I may not be serving as the Spiritual Father of the monks of St. Benedict's Abbey today!
