RACE DAY PARKING

To ensure the safety of athletes and spectators, there will be no on-site parking at the race venue. All participants and attendees must park at the designated off-site lots. Complimentary shuttle buses will run continuously between the offsite parking lot and the race venue starting at 5 a.m. and ending when the race concludes. Please allow extra time to park, shuttle in, and check in before your race. Buses will take approximately 20 minutes to travel from the parking lot to the race venue. Please note that accessible parking and drop-off accommodations are available. Please contact our Race Director at Kathryn.Renner@jocogov.org in advance if you require assistance. TIMING & RESULTS

Your timing chip is on the back of your race bib. Please do not bend your race bib/timing chip. Race bibs are to be worn on the front of your shirt/shorts throughout the entire race. If you forget or lose your bib, please check in with the race management at the information tent on the northeast side of the marina parking lot prior to race start. Results will be available on the race page on RunSignup.com.

RACE PHOTOS

There will be multiple photographers on-site so be sure to flash them your best smile! Race photos will be posted to the Facebook page, and a link will be emailed out to all participants by May 16th.

COURSE MAPS & SIGNAGE

All athletes will begin on the main park road heading south. The Half Marathon and 15K will begin at 7:00 a.m. The 10K and 5K will begin at 7:30 a.m. The run will take place on the paved Coffee Creek Trail system and on the roads inside Heritage Park. The course will have several water stations that may be seen multiple times depending on your race distance. Turnaround points will be marked with signs. Please keep an eye out for your turnaround point, as volunteers may not be present at these locations.

Athletes will follow the route arrow color that corresponds with their race bib color.

AWARDS

All participants will receive a finisher’s medal upon completion of the race. The top OVERALL male and female in each race will receive an award, as well as the top male and female in the Masters Division (40+)*. The top three males and females in each event and age group listed below will also receive an award. Please note: all awards will be given out on-site and will not be mailed.

*Athletes receiving the top OVERALL and Masters awards will not qualify for age group awards.

RACE SHIRTS

If you need to exchange your t-shirt size, please visit the information tent in the northeast corner of the marina parking lot AFTER the race to see if there are extra.

WEATHER SAFETY

In the case of inclement weather or other safety concerns, JCPRD may alter, shorten, or cancel the event. If the start is delayed, updates will be shared via the event’s public announcement system (if available) and the Rainout Line at 913-686-6030 ext. 16. The race will begin once conditions are deemed safe. Delays can occur only as long as the event can still be completed before the park reopens to the public at noon. If conditions do not improve or the course remains unsafe, the event will be canceled with no refunds. There will be no rain date or rescheduling.
