“Nature and the forces of nature are an eternal inspiration for jewelry designers wanting to convey powerful emotions that are exemplified by the unique iterations of earth, fire, sun, and sky.”
“The new generation yearning to define their true selves has gotten them to search for designs that can be stacked and layered in various ways each day, enabling them to make it part of their storytelling.”
We’ve got an exclusive glimpse into the brand’s always-anticipated annual forecast
BY KAREN DYBIS
“Celebrities who are getting married are now choosing looks that show they are wearing real diamonds: natural color diamonds, antique cuts, handmade designs with romantic hand-detailing.”

“The truth is that in today’s world, more and more people are becoming wealthy and seeking one-of-a-kind diamonds and gems and one-of-akind jewelry designs.”
IN AN ECONOMICALLY turbulent time full of social-media sound and geopolitical fur y, Eddie LeVian says his luxury jewelry brand is banking on authenticity.
“In a world where thought is being replaced by ar tificial intelligence, where love is determined by an algorithm, where socializing has been replaced by social media, where romance can be with a robot, and the diamond for your engagement ring can be made in a machine within hours, we believe that consumers will be searching for what is real more than ever,” the CEO and designer at Le Vian says.
Looking ahead to the coming year, Le Vian foresees the core trends as loyalty, vintage, individuality, rarity, and harmony. The LeVian family will introduce these 2027 trends at its 27th Red Carpet Revue, a forecasting event and fashion show, at 4 p.m., Sunday, May 31, in the Delfino Ballroom at The Venetian.

1. Ring with 0.1 ct. t.w. Blueberry Sapphires, 0.375 ct. t.w. Nude Diamonds, 0.625 ct. t.w. Blackberry Diamonds, and Passion Ruby accent in 14k Honey Gold; $7,198
2. Pendant with 1.75 cts. t.w. Montana Sapphire Ombré and 0.125 ct. t.w. Nude Diamonds in 14k Strawberry Gold; $4,598
3. Ring with 0.875 ct. t.w. Vanilla Diamonds in 14k Vanilla Gold; $10,598
4. High Jewelry necklace with 10.5 cts. t.w. Neon Blue Paraiba Tourmaline and 6.625 cts. t.w. Vanilla Diamonds in 14k Vanilla Gold; $93,348
5. High Jewelry earrings with 9.375 cts. t.w. Australian boulder opals, 0.05 ct. t.w. Costa Smeralda Emeralds, 0.5 ct. t.w. Vanilla Diamonds, and Chocolate Diamonds accent in 14k Honey Gold; $25,448
Loyalty—which for LeVian recalls style icons such as Carolyn Bessette Kennedy with her minimalist sapphire eternity band—comprises blue gemstones including the brand’s Blueberry Sapphire, Cornflower Ceylon Sapphire, and Montana Sapphire Ombré. The vintage trend is driven by consumer interest in heirloom-inspired jewelry and craftsmanship; look for antiquities, cushion cuts, and Georgian-style crown settings. Individuality centers on self-expression and personalization (think stacks and charms). Rarity speaks to Le Vian’s high jewelry creations using natural fancy color diamonds and museum-worthy Neon Blue Paraiba Tourmaline. Finally, harmony—divided into earth, sky, sun, and fire subtrends—seeks to reconnect people through color and natural gemstones including Chocolate Diamond, Passion Ruby, and Neon Tangerine Fire Opal.
And what is authenticity to LeVian? “Real friends, real love, genuine diamonds, and gems in cuts and designs that tell your story.”

RANDI MOLOFSKY, FOUNDER
of the Los Angeles– and New York City–based branding agency For Future Reference, is JCK ’s longtime jewelry director and resident trend guru. We recently caught up with her to discuss the styles poised to trend big over the coming seasons.

THESE ARE THE DESIGNS, STYLES, AND COLORS THAT ARE SHAPING THE 2026 JEWELRY MARKET
With gold prices at record highs, are customers embracing alternative materials?
Funny enough, I have seen it actually go the other way: People are wanting gold more than ever. The gold price really helps educate a jewelry-buying consumer and maybe even bring in some new ones because they’re like, “Oh, if I buy gold, that’s a commodity that is worth something.”
During COVID, we sold so much jewelry because people thought, “This is something I can invest in. I can pass it down to my kids.” And I think people are feeling that way right now, too. Gold jewelry specifically makes sense as something to buy. The brands I work with are doing very goldheavy collections for Las Vegas. They’re not making them lighter; they’re not hollowing them out. They’re sticking to 18 karat.
In the gold space, are there styles that feel new—any finishes or pairings?
I have seen quite a bit of jewelry that’s just gold, where it’s very sculptural and somewhat oversized. I’ve seen a lot of gold with no gemstones, no diamonds. But I also think it’s about one of a kind. The first things to go in the collections are the one-offs, and that’s what we’re seeing a move toward right now.
Is the “Desert diamonds” palette taking off?
I personally love stones that are off-color. I’m a yellow gold kind of gal. It doesn’t matter to me if my diamond is bright white because it’s going to be set in yellow anyway. And if it’s a lower color or slightly off, I love that. Customers seem to be trending that way in terms of buying diamonds because they don’t make lab-grown diamonds in off-colors. You know it’s natural, it’s weird, and it’s unique.

What about colored stones? Last year, we talked about red. For a long time, designers were using all kinds of crazy gemstones. That still exists. But I think there is a move toward clients really wanting to invest in precious colors, meaning rubies, emeralds, and sapphires. Again, these are investment pieces that are very easy to understand.
What’s a trending style or motif you’d like to highlight for this season? Necklaces in bigger silhouettes, from 16 inches up to more of a collar. People are always asking me for collar necklaces.
Talk to us a little bit about why vintage is hitting big. It goes along with what I’m talking about with the one of a kind. Every piece of my vintage collection is a one-off. And vintage in general is attracting a younger customer who’s aspirational and understands it. It’s more sustainable, which people love. There’s history and romance. There’s a value proposition with vintage that I think is very helpful. We don’t have to worry about production costs or volatility in the market as with gold prices. There’s more room to not have to mark it up as much. And so we’re able to offer the customer something unique and special that isn’t as expensive as a contemporary piece. These are pieces that no one else has. You’re creating your own individual story.
