Children ages 6-12 are invited to participate in our golf instructional camp where all aspects of the game will be taught by PGA Pro Charles Bishop. Ball striking, putting, chipping, and golf etiquette will all be covered. The cost is $140 per child for the week. It is best if they have their own clubs, but we do have a few sets that can be borrowed in the event they do not have clubs.

The JBSA-Randolph Oaks Golf Course offers golf club repair and modification for the JBSA Golf community and can modify clubs to meet your needs! Did You know?

Interested civilian golfers can obtain a six-month pass to access any JBSA military golf course just like a person with a military ID. All you need to do is provide the following information to the golf course of your choice:

• Full name as it appears on your driver’s license

• Driver’s license number and state of issue

• Date of birth and country of birth

Within a week, you will receive an email to pick up your pass at the visitor center of the location where you applied. The pass will be good at all three locations.

These courses are some of the best maintained and most affordable. Come on out and join us!

THE PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (PDP)

This program offers golfers the following benefits in consideration for a recurring monthly fee of $75.

Range practice access with one large bucket of balls in designated PDP area seven days a week. Some restrictions apply.

$28 fee (twilight rate with cart) required when playing during specified PDP access times. Begins at noon daily.

Four-day advanced tee time reservations.

10% off Pro Shop merchandise.

Two free clinics per month (first and third Saturday of the month).

Player Development Program Policies:

All PDP members are required to check in with the Pro Shop prior to use of the practice facilities and prior to playing golf. Check-in allowed no more than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled tee time.

The range is closed from 8am-12pm on Tuesdays for maintenance.

Dress code (golf attire) will be enforced for the practice area and the golf course.

No outside food and beverage including alcohol allowed onto the premises.

The Player Development Program benefits, access times or rates may be changed or terminated by the Club at any time with a 30-day notice.

Participants can cancel with a 30-day notice.

Failure to comply with the program’s policies may result in the termination of membership.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL

Outdoor Recreation offers rentals for camping, water activities, fishing, trailers, and party equipment. Including tables, chairs, concession machines, and inflatable bounce houses for your next event or adventure.

BOAT RENTAL

Fishing is year-round, so hit your favorite water spots around San Antonio and surrounding areas. Be sure to reserve the boat of your choice. Available boats include pontoon boats, ski boats, and bass boats.

RESALE LOT

Are you interested in selling a vehicle? To place a vehicle on the Resale Lot, patrons must have proof of insurance, registration, and the vehicle must be in their name. Call any ODR for more information about pricing.

RV STORAGE

The cost is $60 per month. Current vehicle registration and insurance are required.

RV PARK

The RV Park has 74 full hookup RV pull-through sites with water, sewage, and electricity. There are also two shower facilities and two laundry facilities for the customer’s convenience. All sites are 30/50 amp. Every site has a patio with a picnic table and 69 sites have a grill. There is a maximum stay limit of 30 days and reservations are taken up to 90 days in advance. The rates are $30 per day, $180 per week, and $650 per month. The cost for sponsored visitors is $35 per day. The RV Park Office is open 9am-4pm,

Mon.-Fri. and from 10am-3pm on Sat.-Sun. with limited services. The Park Office is closed on holidays. Call 210.221.5502 for more information.

TRAIL RIDES

Saturdays and Sundays

Weekend trail rides are available for patrons seven and older for $30. All riders must arrive 30 minutes prior to their appointment time. Adults must accompany children younger than age 13. Riders must be at least 4 feet, 6 inches tall and weigh no more than 225 pounds. If you would like to set up a weekday trail ride, the cost is $40. Group rides and team-building rides are also available. Trail rides are by appointment only and no experience is required. Call to make a reservation.

RIDING LESSONS

By Appointment Only

The Equestrian Center offers horseback riding lessons for all levels of riders in both English/ Western-style. Horses, saddles, and tack for lessons will be provided. Patrons must be at least 7 years old. The price is $60 per hour for a private lesson, $50 for semi-private, and $40 for group lessons. Ask about packaged deals!

PONY RIDES AND PARTIES

Pony rides are available for children that do not meet trail ride requirements. The rides are firstcome, first-serve between 10am-2pm on Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment only during the week. A covered deck with tables is available for parties for $50 a half day.

HORSE BOARDING

The Equestrian Center has paddocks for boarding your horse, a covered arena, two outdoor rings, a round pen, wash racks, a hot-walker, and many more amenities. Call us for more information. Active-duty military personnel have priority.

SPORTSMAN RANGE (GUN RANGE)

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 9am-3pm

Patrons must be 10 and older and be with a valid DoD ID cardholder. All shooters must come inside to sign in and present an ID. Cost per day is $5 for E4 and below, $10 per DoD ID cardholder and $15 per non-DoD ID cardholder. DoD ID cardholders can sponsor two non-DoD ID cardholders. Guests must be in the same vehicle as the sponsor. Please call before coming out to check on weather and unit training restrictions. Last call to the gun range is 2pm.

BOATER’S SAFETY

This is a good time to take advantage of boating at the JBSA Recreation Park at Canyon Lake and surrounding lakes.

Outdoor Recreation requires a Boater’s Safety Course certificate from Texas Parks and Wildlife in order for customers to rent their powered boats.

ARCHERY RANGE

The archery range has targets ranging from 10 to 60 yards at 10-yard intervals. The targets at the range are crossbow rated. A daily pass is $5. A DoD ID cardholder can sponsor up to two non-DoD ID cardholders for $5 per person. The range at Camp Bullis is 100% ID check. All guests must report to ODR and present a DoD ID card. Guests must be in the same vehicle as the sponsor.

LICENSE TO CARRY (LTC) CLASSES

May 9 & 23 and June 13 & 27 8am-1pm

Classes are held at Camp Bullis ODR. Students must be 21+ (active-duty military exempt), familiar with their firearm, and eligible to purchase a handgun under federal law—Must have gun range experience to participate. Cost is $80. Register at www.chlregistration.com.

RV PARK

The RV Park has 41 full hookup RV sites with water, sewage, and electricity. There is also a bathhouse with co-op laundry and vending machines for the customer’s convenience. All sites are 30/50 amp. Every site has a picnic table and free Wi-Fi is available. There is a maximum stay limit of 30 days. The rates are $30 per day, $180 per week, and $650 per month. The cost for sponsored visitors is $35 per day.

MOM’S TIME TO RECHARGE

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a relaxing day just for moms. Enjoy a scenic hike among beautiful flowers, wine tasting, and shopping. Transportation and all fees are included—just relax and enjoy your day. This event is open to moms, cost $35 and deadline to register is April 28 or until full.

HOW TO FISH

May 13 | 5-6:30pm

This beginner-friendly class will teach you step-by-step how to fish, ensuring a fun day by the water. The cost is $26 and includes fishing gear and bait. Catch-and-release only on base. Open to all ages; minors must be supervised by a parent or guardian. Register by May 11.

ROMANTIC CAMPING UNDER THE STARS

May 23 | 12pm ~ May 24 | 2pm

We’ve planned a Romantic Camping Under the Stars experience where you and your partner can enjoy a peaceful night of camping and stargazing together. The cost is $68 per couple and includes food, drinks, camping gear, and State Park fees. Open to adult couples. Register by May 20.

Learn how to build a convertible picnic table! Spots are limited, so register early. The cost is $37 and includes tools and materials. Open to ages 12 and up; minors must be supervised by a parent or guardian. Register by May 29.

FATHER’S DAY GOLF CLINIC & CAMPING

June 13 | 2:30pm~June 14 | 2pm

Hi Dad! Enjoy a camping program just for you with a golf clinic, biking, and an archery tag competition with prizes. First place wins two rounds of golf plus a $75 ODR voucher, with prizes for second and third place as well. The cost is $98 and includes dinner, drinks, golf fees, camping, and games. Open to dads. Clubs provided for the clinic; rentals available for additional play. No outside beverages allowed on the course. Register by June 10.

NIGHT KAYAKING AT SAN ANTONIO RIVER

June 25, July 30, and Aug. 27 | 7-10pm

Nighttime paddle on the San Antonio River in partnership with the San Antonio River Authority. Held the last Thursday each month of June–August. Cost is $28 and includes transportation and equipment. Open to ages 8+ (8–11 tandem with an adult; 12+ solo). Register by the Friday before the event date.
