Interested civilian golfers can obtain a six-month pass to access any JBSA military golf course just like a person with a military ID. All you need to do is provide the following information to the golf course of your choice:
• Full name as it appears on your driver’s license
• Driver’s license number and state of issue
• Date of birth and country of birth
Within a week, you will receive an email to pick up your pass at the visitor center of the location where you applied. The pass will be good at all three locations.

Outdoor Recreation offers rentals for camping, water activities, fishing, trailers, and party equipment. Including tables, chairs, concession machines, and inflatable bounce houses for your next event or adventure.
Fishing is year-round, so hit your favorite water spots around San Antonio and surrounding areas. Be sure to reserve the boat of your choice. Available boats include pontoon boats, ski boats, and bass boats.
Are you interested in selling a vehicle? To place a vehicle on the Resale Lot, patrons must have proof of insurance, registration, and the vehicle must be in their name. Call any ODR for more information about pricing.
The cost is $60 per month. Current vehicle registration and insurance are required.
The RV Park has 74 full hookup RV pull-through sites with water, sewage, and electricity. There are also two shower facilities and two laundry facilities for the customer’s convenience. All sites are 30/50 amp. Every site has a patio with a picnic table and 69 sites have a grill. There is a maximum stay limit of 30 days and reservations are taken up to 90 days in advance. The rates are $30 per day, $180 per week, and $650 per month. The cost for sponsored visitors is $35 per day. The RV Park Office is open 9am-4pm,
Mon.-Fri. and from 10am-3pm on Sat.-Sun. with limited services. The Park Office is closed on holidays. Call 210.221.5502 for more information.
Weekend trail rides are available for patrons seven and older for $30. All riders must arrive 30 minutes prior to their appointment time. Adults must accompany children younger than age 13. Riders must be at least 4 feet, 6 inches tall and weigh no more than 225 pounds. If you would like to set up a weekday trail ride, the cost is $40. Group rides and team-building rides are also available. Trail rides are by appointment only and no experience is required. Call to make a reservation.

The Equestrian Center offers horseback riding lessons for all levels of riders in both English/ Western-style. Horses, saddles, and tack for lessons will be provided. Patrons must be at least 7 years old. The price is $60 per hour for a private lesson, $50 for semi-private, and $40 for group lessons. Ask about packaged deals!
Pony rides are available for children that do not meet trail ride requirements. The rides are firstcome, first-serve between 10am-2pm on Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment only during the week. A covered deck with tables is available for parties for $50 a half day.
The Equestrian Center has paddocks for boarding your horse, a covered arena, two outdoor rings, a round pen, wash racks, a hot-walker, and many more amenities. Call us for more information. Active-duty military personnel have priority.
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 9am-3pm
Patrons must be 10 and older and be with a valid DoD ID cardholder. All shooters must come inside to sign in and present an ID. Cost per day is $5 for E4 and below, $10 per DoD ID cardholder and $15 per non-DoD ID cardholder. DoD ID cardholders can sponsor two non-DoD ID cardholders. Guests must be in the same vehicle as the sponsor. Please call before coming out to check on weather and unit training restrictions. Last call to the gun range is 2pm.
This is a good time to take advantage of boating at the JBSA Recreation Park at Canyon Lake and surrounding lakes.
Outdoor Recreation requires a Boater’s Safety Course certificate from Texas Parks and Wildlife in order for customers to rent their powered boats.

The archery range has targets ranging from 10 to 60 yards at 10-yard intervals. The targets at the range are crossbow rated. A daily pass is $5. A DoD ID cardholder can sponsor up to two non-DoD ID cardholders for $5 per person. The range at Camp Bullis is 100% ID check. All guests must report to ODR and present a DoD ID card. Guests must be in the same vehicle as the sponsor.

We’ve planned a Romantic Camping Under the Stars experience where you and your partner can enjoy a peaceful night of camping and stargazing together. The cost is $68 per couple and includes food, drinks, camping gear, and State Park fees. Open to adult couples. Register by May 20.

Hi Dad! Enjoy a camping program just for you with a golf clinic, biking, and an archery tag competition with prizes. Clubs provided for the clinic; rentals available for additional play. No outside beverages allowed on the course. Register by June 10.

Nighttime paddle on the San Antonio River in partnership with the San Antonio River Authority. Held the last Thursday each month of June–August. Cost is $28 and includes transportation and equipment. Open to ages 8+ (8–11 tandem with an adult; 12+ solo). Register by the Friday before the event date.
