Experience Officer for American Bank BANKING TIPS by beau chêne Resident

Using card controls to keep your bank accounts safe from fraud.

Keeping your account safe from fraud starts with simple habits, and card controls make that easier than ever. Think of them as a personal security dashboard for your debit or credit card—tools you can adjust anytime from your bank’s mobile app or online banking.

One of the most powerful features is the ability to turn your card on or off instantly. If you misplace your wallet, notice unusual activity, or just want to limit spending, a quick tap temporarily blocks all transactions.

Real‑time alerts add another layer of protection by notifying you the moment a purchase is made, a transaction is declined, or a charge exceeds the limits you’ve set.

These alerts are especially helpful for parents monitoring a child’s card or adults helping to manage a parent’s finances.

You can also tailor spending limits or restrict certain merchant types—great for keeping budgets on track or preventing unauthorized use.

Location controls let you limit where your card can be used geographically, reducing the risk of fraud if someone attempts a transaction outside your approved area.

And for ongoing expenses, card controls help you keep an eye on recurring payments like subscriptions, digital wallet charges, or monthly bills so nothing slips through unnoticed. Together, these tools give you more visibility, more control, and more peace of mind, helping you stay one step ahead of fraud while managing your money with confidence.

Call me at (985) 801-4024 — I’d be glad to talk about how American Bank can help you use card controls to protect your bank account.

the Michaelis FAMILY

Some homes feel right the moment you walk through the door—and for John and Michelle Michaelis, their Beau Chene home was exactly that. From its classic character to its peaceful golf course views, it was the kind of place that instantly felt meant for their growing family of five.

Purple, Gold, and a Shared Dream

The two met during their junior year at LSU, where John played on the LSU Men’s Tennis team, and Michelle danced on both the LSU Tiger Girls and LSU Golden Girls dance teams. Even then, they shared the kind of busy, energetic life that comes with balancing big commitments and big dreams—something that still defines their family today.

After LSU, John continued his education in New Orleans at LSU Dental School, then completed a two-year orthodontic residency through LSU. Once finished, he stepped into the orthodontic world in a way that felt almost full-circle. John joined the very practice that inspired him to become an orthodontist as a child, working alongside his mentor, Dr. William Ledoux. That opportunity to learn side-by-side with someone who shaped his career path made the experience even more meaningful. After several years of Ledoux and Michaelis Orthodontics, the practice is now proudly known as Michaelis Orthodontics, located just a few minutes outside Beau

Chene’s main gate on Dalwill Drive.

Michelle, meanwhile, has built an impressive career of her own, working in pharmaceutical sales for more than 10 years. Together, their careers reflect the same balance their family life does: hardworking, fast-paced, and deeply rooted in the community they love.

Finding Forever in Beau Chene

“We always knew that we wanted to be on the golf course in Beau Chene for our forever home,” says Michelle. “John’s clinic, Michaelis Orthodontics, is just down the street, and we love the close-knit family community the neighborhood offers.”

So rather than rushing into a purchase, they took their time. When the right opportunity came, it arrived through the kind of connection that feels perfectly Beau Chene. A close friend reached out about homeowners looking to downsize after raising their family. “When we got the name of the homeowners, we called my parents (well-known and beloved veterinarians right outside the main gate at Animal Care Hospital) to see if they knew the family, and of course, they had been friends for decades!” John explains. John and Michelle walked through the home that same day, and from the moment the door opened, they felt right at home. Life moved quickly after that—they moved in just five days before

isn’t about trend— it’s about story.

One standout piece is a large artwork hanging in their living room, painted by local artist Alexandra Drake. The Michaelis kids helped create the piece themselves, choosing paint colors, rolling out a large canvas, and letting their imaginations run wild. Alexandra refined the work and had it beautifully framed. Today, it serves as a one-of-a-kind centerpiece, filled with handprints, footprints, and doodles that capture their children’s personalities in a way no store-bought piece ever could. John also treasures their baby grand piano from Lafargue’s Pianos, played daily by him or one of the children. Tucked into their living room is another unforgettable find: a stunning 18th-century French armoire purchased online from a couple moving out of their French Quarter condo.

Michelle gave birth to their third baby.

Built in 2000, the home fits their family perfectly, with room to grow and the kind of thoughtful layout that makes everyday life with three young children feel both manageable and meaningful. Their children—James (5), Mary Katherine (4), and Charlotte (15 months)—have the kind of childhood setting many families dream of. A playroom sits within earshot of the living spaces, large windows overlook the backyard, and an especially convenient kitchen door leads straight to the outdoor living area, making it easy for little ones to run in and out, keeping the home safe, warm, and kid-friendly.

At the heart of the home is the kitchen—without question the family’s favorite gathering place. “The kitchen’s beautiful brick floors are one of the first things we fell in love with,” Michelle shares. “The coffered ceiling with beadboard is also so beautiful. We have a small seating area where people can sit and chat while being centralized. I would say when we host, the kitchen definitely gets the most action, then the backyard!”

Style That Tells a Story

Michelle’s favorite statement piece may be the antique French crystal chandelier in their formal dining room, found during a trip to Fairhope, Alabama. With the help of Nancy Hodgins, owner of Exquisite Essentials Interiors and fellow Beau Chene resident, they were able to find the perfect fixture. “We took it from our old home where she helped me design the main areas with pieces that would transition nicely into our next home.” Cindy Trist, owner of CCT Interiors has also helped design a few spaces, including their beloved piano room.

Meaning at Mealtimes

While those pieces bring beauty, the home’s most meaningful furnishings are tied to family tradition. Their pine kitchen table is the same one Michelle’s parents had built for her childhood home. Now it anchors their evenings, where the family gathers nightly for dinner and prayer. The children take turns setting the table and leading prayers—a small routine that has become a treasured part of their daily life.

And then there is their dining room table, a piece with a story that always sparks conversation. In 2021, Archie and Olivia Manning held an estate sale at their Garden District home. Michelle’s mom, a seasoned estate sale enthusiast, arrived early and rushed to claim the table—knowing her daughter needed one. She got the tag first, and today the Michaelis family sits around the very same table the Manning family once gathered around for special meals and memorable stories.

Their style throughout the home is layered with meaningful pieces, many found close to home through Renaissance Interiors, Niche, and New Orleans estate sales. But their most special décor k

Right Where They Belong

The home itself offers the kind of charm that can’t be manufactured. “It has so much unique character, it truly feels like one of a kind.” Exposed brick arches, hardwood floors, and a classic, timeless style set the tone throughout. Three sets of French doors stretch across the back of the living room, opening onto a porch with views of the golf course framed by two live oaks draped in Spanish moss. Add in their cul-de-sac location and close neighbors, and it’s easy to understand why the Michaelis family feels they landed exactly where they were meant to be.

In Beau Chene, their lifestyle fits naturally. They love the active community feel, the kids riding bikes through the neighborhood, and the social events at the club. With golf and tennis right in their backyard, the neighborhood is more than a location—it’s a way of life. John has become an avid golfer, playing in club tournaments whenever time allows. Michelle plays in two nighttime women’s tennis leagues and jokes she’s still working toward returning one of John’s serves.

Their family also loves to travel, squeezing in big adventures whenever possible. In 2025 alone, they made trips skiing, to the beach, and to Chicago. The beach remains a favorite, often visited three to four times each summer. They spent Mardi Gras break in Mexico, have their first Disney family trip planned for April, and are always ready for a spontaneous weekend getaway. But one place will always feel like home—on fall Saturdays, you’ll find them in Tiger Stadium where it all began.

When they aren’t cooking at home, the Michaelis family enjoys dining at local favorites like Carrettas and the Beau Chene Oak Grill and treats from Flying Dolly’s or Moo Moos. For date nights, John and Michelle enjoy Pardos, Bon Sake, Dakotas, and Keith Young’s.

And no matter how busy life gets, one family tradition never changes: Friday night pizza and movie night.

“It is one of the most special traditions we have,” Michelle says. “All of our friends and family know this is a coveted and nonnegotiable occasion in the Michaelis house. Friends and family are always welcome to join, but on Friday nights, that is where they can find us.”

It’s a simple ritual—sometimes homemade pizza, sometimes ordered out, always with the kids taking turns choosing the movie—but it perfectly captures the Michaelis family’s spirit: warm, welcoming, and deeply connected to each other.

For the Michaelis family, Beau Chene is more than a neighborhood—it’s home in every sense of the word.

Owner of Northlake & Lakeview Academy of Music music Tips by beau chêne Resident Leslie Thomas Domingues

How Parents Can Promote Their Child’s Daily Musical Instrument Practice

SHOW INTEREST. Ask your child questions about what they are learning. Listen to them practice at home—be their audience. This will demonstrate to them your support for their music practice.

CELEBRATE PROGRESS. Acknowledge them when they make noticeable improvements, meet their individual goals, and hit milestones. This will boost and build their confidence!

BE PATIENT AND POSITIVE. Avoid criticism! Instead, focus on encouragement, which will then foster a love for music.

MINI RECITAL

AT HOME FOR THE FAMILY:

Ask your child to have a “mini recital” for the family, playing 2-3 songs from their repertoire. Video them to share with their music teachers at their next lesson!

skin care Tips by beau chêne Resident carly hollrah

CEO & Founder of Hollrah Wellness

Spring is the perfect time to reset your skin, your energy, and your wellness routine before summer is in full swing. A few intentional steps now can make a big difference in how you look and feel in the months ahead.

1. Hydrate from the Inside Out

As temperatures rise, hydration becomes even more important. Increasing your water intake supports glowing skin, balanced hormones, energy levels, and overall cellular function. If you’ve been feeling sluggish coming out of winter, consider electrolyte support or IV hydration to replenish and refresh.

2. Clear Sun Damage Before Summer

Spring is ideal for laser treatments to target sun damage, brown spots, redness, and uneven texture. Treating pigmentation now gives your skin time to heal and regenerate before peak sun exposure. By summer, you’ll be starting fresh with brighter, clearer skin.

3. Hats & SPF — Even on Mild Days

Just because it’s not blazing hot doesn’t mean UV rays aren’t active. Daily sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) and wide-brimmed hats help prevent premature aging, pigmentation, and collagen breakdown. Consistency is key — prevention is always easier than correction.

4. Support Energy & Anti-Aging with Peptides

Spring is also a great time to evaluate your internal wellness. Peptide therapy can support energy, muscle tone, fat metabolism, skin health, and healthy aging pathways. If you’ve been struggling with fatigue, brain fog, or stubborn weight, a personalized peptide plan may help you feel revitalized heading into summer.

REAL ESTATE tips by BEAU chêne RESIDENT CYNTHIA BENBOW

SPRING HOME TIPS FOR BEAU CHÊNE & BEYOND

Spring is the perfect time to refresh your home—whether you’re preparing to sell or simply want to enjoy the season. A few strategic updates can make a big impact without a major renovation.

1. Focus on Curb Appeal First

After winter, a quick exterior refresh goes a long way. Power-wash walkways, clean gutters, trim shrubs, and add fresh mulch. A new front-door mat or seasonal planter instantly elevates first impressions.

2. Let the Light In

Spring buyers—and homeowners—love natural light. Clean windows inside and out, swap heavy drapes for lighter fabrics, and open blinds to brighten your space.

3. Declutter with Purpose

Spring cleaning isn’t just about tidying—it’s about creating calm. Clear countertops, simplify closets, and remove unused furniture to make rooms feel larger and more inviting.

4. Refresh, Don’t Replace

You don’t need a full remodel to feel updated. Neutral paint touch-ups, updated light bulbs (warm white), and minor hardware changes can modernize a space quickly and affordably.

5. Think Outdoor Living

As the weather warms, outdoor spaces become an extension of the home. Clean patios, refresh seating, and add simple touches like cushions or lanterns to create a welcoming spot for entertaining.

A little spring attention now not only increases enjoyment but also protects long-term value—especially in our Northshore market.

In January, readers of Inside New Orleans voted for their favorite Leading Doctors, all of whom are listed in our February - March issue of Inside New Orleans. Exclusively for our Northshore magazines, we are happy to give you a condensed, Northshore-only list of your top Leading Doctors in the Mandeville, Covington, and surrounding areas. Dr. Brad LeBert

COVINGTON ENT & ALLERGY CLINIC

Dr. Brad LeBert of Covington ENT & Allergy Clinic has built his career around a specialty that blends precision, problem-solving, and personal connection. “I was drawn to otolaryngology because it sits right at the intersection of medicine and surgery,” Dr. LeBert shares. “I enjoy being able to diagnose, manage, and when needed, fix problems with my hands.”

ENT has also given him the opportunity to treat a wide range of patients, from infants to seniors in their nineties and beyond. Often, those patients come from the same family. That generational continuity is one of the most meaningful parts of his

work. “Taking care of multiple generations gives the work a lot more meaning,” Dr. LeBert explains.

Raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Dr. LeBert left home at seventeen to attend LSU, completing his undergraduate studies in Baton Rouge. He earned a master’s degree in zoology with a minor in psychology, then continued his medical training and residency in New Orleans. His residency later became a regional program after Hurricane Katrina, allowing him to train across New Orleans, the Northshore, Baton Rouge, and Lafayette. He returned to Lake Charles and practiced there for ten years until Hurricane Laura devastated the area. About five years ago, he and his family relocated to the Northshore.

What he enjoys most about his work is the daily human connection. “Medicine allows me to use my mind to help solve problems and my heart to help people heal,” he says. “Knowing I may have played even a small role in making someone’s life better is what keeps me energized.”

At Covington ENT and Allergy, Dr. LeBert has intentionally built a patient-focused team. Every detail—from the way patients are greeted to the lighting and interior design—was chosen to help people feel calm, safe, and cared for.

The clinic offers a full range of ENT services for both pediatric and adult patients, including allergy testing and immunotherapy (shots, drops, and toothpaste), as well as a complete audiology program with hearing care and hearing aid services. The clinic also provides in-office procedures for nasal obstruction, chronic runny nose, dizziness, and nosebleeds.

“Our goal is to be the one source for complete relief,” Dr. LeBert says, sharing the clinic’s motto.

With nurse practitioner Monica Butz, the team brings more than forty years of combined ENT experience, and with Dr. Haley Baldwin providing audiological expertise, Covington ENT & Allergy Clinic offers comprehensive care designed around comfort, access, and patient empowerment.

Dr. John Lewis

Dr. John Lewis always knew he wanted a career in the medical field. When he started seriously thinking about his future during high school, that goal remained at the center of his plans. It was during his senior year that he had the opportunity to shadow his own dentist—that experience solidified his path. In that moment, he realized dentistry was exactly what he wanted to pursue.

Growing up, Dr. Lewis enjoyed building things and working with his hands, another reason he took to dentistry; it was the perfect blend of hands-on skill while still being able to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients. For him, it wasn’t only about fixing teeth—it was about helping people improve their confidence, happiness, and overall health.

Dr. Lewis was raised in Kenner, Louisiana. He graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School before continuing his education at LSU, completing both his undergraduate studies and dental training at the LSU School of Dentistry.

Opening his own practice, Dr. Lewis said, was about ensuring his patients always come first. By running an independently owned office, he has the freedom to make decisions based solely on what is best for each patient’s health, comfort, and long-term care. His practice avoids the corporate policies and

production goals he saw so often before starting his Haven Dental.

What Dr. Lewis enjoys most about his work is rebuilding a patient’s confidence. Whether he is helping someone get out of pain or helping them feel comfortable smiling again, the reward comes from seeing patients regain trust and comfort. He finds it especially meaningful when patients tell him they no longer feel afraid to visit the dentist.

As a leader, Dr. Lewis values the strong relationships within his office, taking pride in having a team that has become like family, united by a shared mission: helping people smile.

His practice offers a wide range of services, including dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, dentures, Invisalign, dental implants, and smile makeovers with veneers. Dr. Lewis stays current with the newest techniques by participating in study clubs and continuing education courses.

For those searching for a dental home, Dr. Lewis’s practice is located right outside of Beau Chene, next door to the Garden Spot of Mandeville. At Haven Dental, you can expect a welcoming, judgment-free environment where the goal is to make your visit the least stressful part of your day. Dr. Lewis and his team work with every patient to achieve their smile goals, whether it involves a simple cleaning or a complete transformation.

Dr. Sheryl Coglaiti

THE BRAIN HUB

Dr. Sheryl Coglaiti is a New Orleans native whose professional journey has always been rooted in how the brain learns—and how to help it learn better. Born in New Orleans and raised in Gretna, she built a career serving the same South Louisiana communities that shaped her, blending deep academic training with a mission to help students and adults reach their full potential.

Her academic foundation is extensive. Dr. Coglaiti earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and her Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from Nicholls State University before completing a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Literacy at Louisiana State University. Her doctoral work focused on literacy, belief systems in learning, and the neurological processes involved in reading development. She also holds certifications in Mild/Moderate Special Education, Reading Specialist, and Educational Diagnostician, and is a National Board-Certified Teacher as a Middle Childhood Generalist. Over the course of her career, she has taught students at every level—from first grade through graduate school—and has received awards for teaching excellence at both the international and state levels. Most recently, she served as an Assistant Professor of Literacy Education with a specialized focus on dyslexia.

While her roots are in structured literacy, Dr. Coglaiti’s work evolved as she noticed a consistent pattern among struggling learners. Many were bright and capable, yet held back by difficulties with organization, planning, working memory, time management, and emotional regulation. She realized that even the strongest reading instruction cannot fully take hold without strong executive functioning—the brain-based systems that manage how we initiate, organize, focus, and follow through. That insight reshaped her professional focus and ultimately led to the creation of The Brain Hub, where executive functioning development is the core of everything she does.

Today, The Brain Hub specializes in strengthening the brain’s management system through individualized, research-driven strategies. Services include executive functioning performance development, comprehensive educational evaluations in collaboration with psychologists and medical professionals, and structured literacy intervention when appropriate. Dr. Coglaiti also integrates advanced technologies, including Cogmed Working Memory Training, Play Attention neurofeedback-based attention training, and MindPrint, a sophisticated cognitive assessment platform that reveals how an individual’s brain processes and performs. She is currently completing Brain Clinician training through Dr. Daniel Amen, ensuring her practice remains aligned with the most current neuroscience-informed approaches.

Key dates to know.

• March 16: S-corporation and partnership returns due.

• April 15: Individual and C-corporation returns are due.

Get your documents together.

• W-2s, 1099s, investment statements, mortgage interest, property tax bills, charitable gifts, etc.

• Organize them for your tax preparer, or yourself, before the last-minute rush.

Extensions: time to file, not time to pay.

• Individual Extension - file form 4868 to extend filing until October 15

• Business Extension - file form 7001 to extend filing until September 15

• This extends the deadline to file, NOT to pay. Pay what you can or an estimated amount to avoid additional penalties.

If you can’t pay, still file.

• The “failure to file” penalty is 10x higher than the failure-to-pay penalty: it’s 5% of the unpaid tax per month, compared to 0.5% per month.

• You can often set up an IRS payment plan or another arrangement instead of ignoring the bill.

New or expanded tax breaks from the “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

• Ask about new deductions for social security, tip income, auto loan interest, increased SALT (State & Local Tax) cap, and overtime.

• Ask whether Section 179 expensing, bonus depreciation, expanded R&D deductions, or the 20% QBI deduction might apply to your business.

Behind on tax filings or payments?

• This is very common, and there is no reason to be fearful or embarrassed. The IRS wants you to be compliant, and there are options for resolving back taxes or unfiled returns.

• If you need help or guidance with a tax issue, contact me, and I will help you explore solutions.

Elizabeth “Libba”Daniel

Elizabeth “Libba” Daniel, an 18-year-old senior at Saint Scholastica Academy, represents the best of what it means to grow up in a community that values both excellence and character. A student at SSA since eighth grade after attending Mary Queen of Peace Catholic School, Libba thrives in the supportive academic environment created by the faculty, coaches, and staff. She enjoys the variety of electives offered and is currently taking Intro to Sports Medicine, TV Production, and a Student Ministry class, where students help prepare for weekly and monthly Mass and mentor younger girls at the school.

Libba was recently honored with the Louisiana Soccer Association’s Distinguished Scholar Athlete Award during the LSA’s 40th anniversary celebration at LSU’s Tiger Stadium. The award is given in recognition of exceptional academic achievement, meaningful impact in the game, and service through sport and leadership—an accurate reflection of her years of dedication on and off the field.

A soccer player for 14 years, Libba began with Mandeville Soccer Club before advancing to the Girls Academy through the Louisiana TDP program based in Baton Rouge. Her passion for the sport has taken her across the country, from California and North Carolina to Kansas, New Jersey, and every state along the Gulf Coast. She has been nationally rated by Top Draw Soccer, and coaches from dozens of Power Four universities have followed her career, including a memorable moment when the University of North Carolina’s coach came to watch her play.

Scholastica Scholars. By graduation, she will complete more than 100 hours of service through the Doves Serve program, guided by the belief, “To whom much is given, much will be required.”

This summer, Libba will travel to Europe with classmates before heading to the University of Alabama on a scholarship within the Honors College, where she plans to pursue a future in the medical field, possibly as a pediatrician.

At the high school level, Libba has earned nearly every major soccer honor, including All District, All Metro, All State, All Star, and Team MVP. Saint Scholastica Academy has won the Louisiana State Soccer Championship for the past two years, an experience Libba treasures—playing alongside her best friends, winning the biggest game of the season, and bringing the championship trophy back to campus. Her journey has not been without setbacks, including three concussions, multiple broken fingers, a broken wrist, and two broken noses. Those injuries ultimately led her to choose academics over college soccer.

In the classroom, Libba has maintained straight A’s since eighth grade and is enrolled in AP and LSU dual-enrollment courses. She is a member of SSA’s ACT Over 30 Club and

UP21 Foundation: supporting down syndrone

Non Profit

UP21 Foundation was born from both inspiration and determination. In 2010, a group of St. Tammany Parish moms— including founding board member Cassie Walther—attended a conference in Atlanta focused on educating children with Down syndrome. The experience was transformative. Armed with practical, empowering knowledge, the group left knowing this information could make a meaningful difference not just for their own children, but for educators, professionals, and families in their community. That shared resolve became the spark behind UP21 Foundation.

At its heart, UP21 Foundation exists to create connection, education, and opportunity for individuals with Down syndrome and other disabilities, and for the families who love them. The organization offers a wide range of programs, from age-appropriate social events like park playdates, movie socials, and paint parties for middle school and teens, to parent-focused gatherings such as parent’s night out. UP21 also welcomes newly diagnosed families through a dedicated program that meets them at a vulnerable moment, offering resources, support, and an immediate sense of belonging. Educational and wellness initiatives are another cornerstone of UP21’s mission. The foundation has hosted world-renowned researchers to educate local physicians, offered nutrition workshops and etiquette classes, and partnered with iCan Bike to bring a patented bike-riding program to the community—complete with bikes and helmets

for participants. UP21 has also helped launch iFit, an adaptive CrossFit program, and supported a local athlete’s journey to national competition. In education, the foundation played a role in launching the GRACE Program at Hannan High School, an inclusive program for students ages 13 and up.

UP21’s signature celebration is its annual 3.21 event, honoring World Down Syndrome Day. The 12th annual “Take a Walk in the Park” fundraiser will take place Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Koop Drive in Mandeville. The family-friendly event features a quarter-mile walk, silent auction, games, activities, and local businesses supporting the disability community.

Community members can get involved by following UP21 on social media, visiting up21foundation.org, emailing the organization, or supporting sponsorships for the upcoming walk.

beau chêne residents THE Johnson family pet

Camo, The Adorable Yorkiepoo

With their oldest daughter heading off to college, this family felt a little emptier than usual. To fill that space and bring new energy into the home, they decided it was the perfect time to welcome a furry friend. That’s how Camo, a sweet little Yorkiepoo, joined their lives.

Camo, short for Camouflage, is just over a year old. His name suits him perfectly, reflecting both his playful personality and the way he quietly sneaks into everyone’s heart. From the moment he arrived, it was clear that Camo was destined to be a cherished member of the family.

The family chose a Yorkiepoo—a mix of Yorkshire Terrier and Poodle—because the breed is hypoallergenic and doesn’t shed, ideal for a busy household. Camo has certainly lived up to expectations. His soft, curly fur is a striking mix of black and brown with a sweet tan face, making him look like a tiny, cuddly teddy bear.

Energetic and affectionate, Camo thrives on attention. Unlike many dogs, he doesn’t have a single favorite person; he considers himself the favorite of everyone in the family. Whether cuddling on the couch, exploring the backyard, or

simply being at the center of the family’s daily life, Camo loves being where the action is.

He has provided the family with endless laughter. One particularly memorable moment occurred when he fell into the pool as a puppy. Since that day, Camo has refused to swim—a funny quirk that keeps the family amused. On top of his humorous antics, he has also mastered potty training and rarely barks, making him both a playful and low-maintenance companion.

Camo’s favorite place is the backyard, where he can chase squirrels to his heart’s content. While he tends to destroy most of his toys, he has a special attachment to a little Santa from TJMaxx, which he carries around proudly.

What the family loves most about Camo is his loving and joyful personality. In just one year, he has become an irreplaceable part of the household, bringing laughter, energy, and unconditional love. Camo is a reminder of the joy a little dog can bring, and it’s clear that life with him is brighter, funnier, and a whole lot cuddlier.
