Hello, my name is Jasmin, I am 16 years old, I am a sophomore at Carlmont High school. I have been playing Genshin Impact for two years. I started playing it because my friend invited me and also because my friend and I like fantasy video games, I liked it so much that it is now one of my favorite games.

Gameplay
Genshin Impact is an open-world action role-playing game that allows the player to control one of four interchangeable characters in a party. Switching between characters can be done quickly during combat, allowing the player to use several different combinations of skills and attacks. Characters can improve their abilities in several ways, primarily by leveling up directly and upgrading the artifacts and weapons a character can equip. In addition to exploration, the player can attempt various challenges to obtain rewards. Scattered across Teyvat are bosses and challenges that reward valuable resources, but claiming them consumes a currency called Original Resin, which slowly regenerates over time. Completing these challenges grants the player progress to increase their Adventure Rank, which in turn unlocks new quests, challenges, and raises the world level. World Tier is a measure of how strong the enemies are within the world and the rarity of the rewards defeating them offers. The player can control their character and perform actions such as running, climbing, swimming, and sliding, all limited by stamina. Some characters possess abilities that can alter the environment, such as freezing water to create an ice path that can help the player traverse terrain. There are many teleportation points around the world that players can travel to as a form of fast travel; Among these are landmarks known as Statues of the Seven that can heal and revive characters and provide benefits such as increasing the player’s stamina. Items such as food and minerals can be obtained in the open world, while enemies and treasure chests drop other types of resources that can be used to improve a character’s strength.
Events in Game
Events are limited-time activities in Genshin Impact that allow the player to earn rewards. Players must be Adventure Rank 2 to participate in events, but most have additional requirements. Some Events include Missions that are not available after the Event duration has ended. The events overview menu can be accessed from the Paimon menu, from the shortcut wheel, from the events icon at the top right of the screen, or by pressing the F5 key on PC. Some events allow the player to skip mission requirements using the quick start feature.

When people walk through the desert of sumeru, they leave footprints of varying depths. According to our correspondent, Charlotte, the depth of footprints can be determined by the speed of their disappearance. In other words, the longer the footprnts take to dissappear, the taller (and havier) the voyage (or creature) that left them is!
Some plants behave differently depending on their enviroment. For example, the Windwheel Asters of Mondstadt are still on windless days, whereas their petals will start spin slightly when there’s a breeze. During storms, they’ll spin even faster!
Like, Glaze Lilies also look different depending on the time of the day. Their petals are closed during daytime, but open up at nighttime! So if you want to see a Glaze Lily in full bloom, just wait until night!
Aether and Lumine, a pair of twins who travel across different worlds, land in Teyvat. Witnessing the destruction of Khaenri’ah upon their arrival, the two attempt to flee, but they soon found their path blocked by a mysterious god who calls herself the “Sustainer of Heavenly Principles”. She separates the twins, sealing the playable character away for five hundred years. When the sealed sibling, now called “The Traveler”, wakes up, they meet a small fairy-like being named Paimon, who becomes their companion and travel guide. The two set off on a journey across Teyvat to gather information about their lost twin from each nation’s ruling Archon.
