Jeff Cochran has been painting the landscape of New Mexico for many years, with a current goal to “get better and purer,” he says. His home among alfalfa fields and his history as an organic farmer has instilled a deep love and respect for the land in which he paints. Liz Wolf says, “If I had to choose one word to describe my artwork it would be “animism”, one of man’s oldest beliefs that in every object a spirit or soul exists.” Liz works to emphasize the spirit of every sculpture she creates along with staying true to its artistic form. Showing at Manitou Galleries Sept 2-Sept 30, 2022
