What exactly is CBG? Cannabigerol, or CBG, is a cannabinoid that works similarly to CBD but is far less abundant in hemp. The scarcity of CBG makes it more difficult to extract and thus more difficult (and expensive) for consumers to find, but it is becoming more well-known. However, due to these inherent difficulties, CBG is more commonly found as an isolate rather than a whole-plant extract.
