The Effect and Properties of CBG (Cannabigerol) CBG (cannabigerol) is one of more than 100 cannabinoids found in marijuana, however it is considered a minor cannabinoid because it is present at very low quantities in most types (usually between 0.1 and 0.5%). However, because to its growing importance in recent years, it is now one of the substances with the highest potential for medicinal therapies based on this plant.

Despite its therapeutic potential, the difficulties in generating significant amounts of CBG has impeded its research and commercialization. CBG Isolate Bulk extraction is exceedingly expensive due to the large amount of biomass required and the usage of highly specialised equipment, which is why it has been dubbed the "Rolls Royce of cannabinoids." In reality, CBG prices are five times, if not more, than CBD prices. However, this has lately altered due to the introduction of novel genetics rich in CBG, which has made it possible to get it more effectively, hence opening the way to large-scale legal manufacturing.
