a report on how we experimented with extra-decarbing cannabis flower to make our Periodic Edibles CBN Cannabis Caramels (now available in select Oregon locations).

WHERE DO WE STAND ON CBN? CBN is commonly produced in dried cannabis flower that has been stored for a long time, allowing some of the THC content to slowly degrade into this smaller minor cannabinoid. Historically, cannabis consumers have reported that aged cannabis produces more sedating, even sleep-inducing effects than fresher cannabis flower. This has earned CBN the moniker "sleepy cannabinoid," but does the science back up CBN's potential relaxing effects? According to Dr. Ethan Russo and others' research, it's not clear if the relationship between Wholesale CBN Isolate and sedation is direct - Bulk CBN Isolate may be relaxing or sleep-inducing at certain concentrations by itself, or it may be working in synergy with THC to produce sedating effects, as CBN Isolate Wholesale is still consumed in the presence of THC. The calming experience from aged cannabis may even be an Entourage Effect phenomenon from the increased presence of hearty terpenes like Myrcene in aged cannabis flower, which are often sedating themselves in addition to the potential impacts of CBN or CBN:THC ratios. While the science isn't clear on the individual effects of CBN, and all of these potential cannabinoid & terpene combinations need much more research, anecdotal reports from experienced cannabis consumers appear to support at least some degree of relaxing effects from noticeable concentrations of CBN, with no real concerning side-effects of note as long as you're consuming cannabis safely. This means you can safely experiment with CBN Isolate Wholesale products available in dispensaries, as well as make your own CBN edibles at home, to see how they affect you. Because everyone's body is different, the only way to know if Bulk CBN Isolate will relax you is to try a few doses and see.

A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO MAKING CBN EDIBLES AT HOME We wanted to add CBN to our Relax Cannabis Caramels to see if it improved the consistency and strength of the calming effects, but we're a whole-plant edible company, so we didn't want to add cannabinoid isolates to our full spectrum canna-butter. This prompted us to conduct an experiment in our kitchen to naturally produce Wholesale CBN IsolateWholesale CBN Isolatefrom an extended decarb to break down some of the THC content of cannabis flower. We've been so pleased with the results that we're sharing the information with interested consumers like you, so you can try CBN Isolate Wholesale for yourself without having to scour dispensaries for limited supply Bulk CBN Isolate products. You'll make a batch of concentrated canna-butter with THC and CBN by following the steps below, which you can then use to make cookies, cakes, spread on toast, drop in coffee anywhere you'd use regular butter!

To make CBN Canna-Butter, you'll need the following ingredients:

1 pound regular butter (or 1 pound coconut oil for vegan CBN edibles!) 1 ounce cannabis flower with a high THC content* an oven with temperature control a crockpot or other slow cooker Cheesecloth or other straining materials *For ease of calculation, we used cannabis with 10% THC in our example; be sure to substitute the actual THC percentage shown on the lab results for your cannabis to most accurately estimate the amount of THC and Bulk CBN Isolate in your final canna-butter and resulting edibles. This is also an excellent opportunity to use up any stored cannabis that you don't want to smoke!

Step-by-Step Instructions for Making CBN Canna-Butter: Pre-heat your oven to 300 degrees F; if you're not sure about your oven's accuracy, use a thermometer to confirm, and adjust temperature settings as needed. Place your cannabis flower in a covered container and bake for 60 minutes at 300 degrees F. Not only will this activate your THC by decarbing it into Delta-9-THC, but it will also force a conversion to Bulk CBN Isolate for a percentage of the THC in the flower. Once your cannabis flower has been completely decarbed, gently melt your butter or coconut oil in your crock pot. Then, thoroughly mix in your specially-decarbed cannabis flower. To ensure that nothing burns during the slow and low cooking process, add just enough water to completely submerge your cannabis flower and stabilize the butter mixture. Cook for 4 hours on low heat, stirring every 30 minutes to ensure everything is heating evenly and no butter solids or cannabis flower are burning on the bottom of the crockpot. After cooking, strain the canna-butter through cheesecloth or any other fine straining apparatus to remove the plant material. Allow the strained mixture to cool completely in the fridge for at least 6 hours (and up to overnight) before harvesting the solidified THC & Bulk CBN Isolate canna-butter layer, discarding any liquid that remains. *To make extra-pure canna-butter, gently re-melt the solid butter layer and strain the melted canna-butter a second time before using to reduce plant material in your final canna-butter.

THC AND CBN PERCENTAGE IN HOMEMADE EDIBLES If you start with cannabis flower that contains 10% THC, as we did, you'll end up with canna-butter that contains approximately 7mg of THC and 2mg of CBN Isolate Wholesale per gram of butter. After this infusion and straining process, you should have around 350 grams of total canna-butter yield to work with, so do the math to determine the final THC & Wholesale CBN Isolate concentrations in each serving of your edible recipe based on the grams of canna-butter used.

To adjust the per-edible THC and Bulk CBN Isolate dosage, replace the canna-butter in the recipe with non-infused butter during baking.

FINAL CONSIDERATIONS If you try this method at home, please let us know how it goes and if you notice any especially relaxing effects from your CBN Isolate Wholesale edibles. Finally, consider having the potency of your edibles tested at your local cannabis analytics lab to confirm the presence of Wholesale CBN Isolate and other cannabinoids in your edibles and better understand what's driving your experience! It's easier and less expensive than you might think to confirm the cannabinoid profile of at-home edibles if your state has cannabis testing labs, so give it a shot if you're curious and see what you find.
