Article A.2.3.8 - Engine compartment
Introduce-an article 2.3.8 as follows
11 2.3.8) Engine compartment:
Volume.defined by the first structural envelope surrounding the engine. " (As from 1.01.91)
2)MODIFICATIONS TO THE CHAPTER "GENERAL PRESCRIPTIONS FOR PRODUCTION CARS, TOURING CARS AND SPORTS CARS"
Article 3-9 -Cylinder block
Introduce an article 3.9 as follows
"3.9 -Cylinders:
For non-sleeved engines, it will be possible to separate the cylinders by adding material, but not parts."
Article 8.5 - Ff3 tanks
Introduce an article 8.5 as follows
11 8.5) Installation ofthe FT3 tank :
There must be an orifice to evacuate any fuel which may have spread into the tank compartment.
The position and the dimension of the filler hole as well as that of the cap may be changed as long as the new installation does not protrude beyond the bodywork and guarantees that no fuel shall leak into one of the interior compartments of the car.
If the filler hole is situated inside the car, it must be separated from the cockpit by a liquid-tight protection. " (As from 1.01.91)
Article 9 - Brakes
Add an article as follows "Carbon brake discs are forbidden." (As from 1.01.91)

Article 14.4 - Manufacturers of FI'3 tanks
Under "Great Britain", add : "FPT Industries Ltd, The Airport, PORTSMOUTH, Hants P03 5PE." (Iinmediate application)
Article 16 - Seat attachment
Add an article 16 as follows "16) Seat attachment/support: If the original seat attachments and supports are changed, they must respect the following:
4 attachments per seat, using 8 mm diameter bolts. the minimum thickness of the material for the reinforcement plates, brackets, etc. is 3 mm for steel and 5 mm for light alloy. the minimum surface area for each mounting point (brackets and counterplates) is 40 cm2. " (As from 1.01.91)

Article 2 - Homologation
Replace "5000" with "2500".

Article 5 - General conditions

"Addition ofmaterial, and parts:
Any addition or attaching of material or parts is forbidden unless it is specifically allowed by an article in these regulations. Any material removed is not to be reused. Restoration of body shape and chassis geometry, following accidental damage, is permissible by the addition of the materials necessary to effect the repairs (body filler, weld metal, etc.) ; other parts which are worn or damaged are not to be repaired by the addition or attaching of material unless an article in these regulations allows appropriate freedom."

- Replace the title of this article with: "Limitations in rallies."
