Studio Youth-Topia is one of the Sustainable Design Option Studio 2 from SUTD/ ASD Pillar to explore multi-dimensional issues of sustainable design through a variety of lenses and at diverse temporal and spatial scales. In this digital publication, Youth-Topia offers insights into the studio’s work on placemaking in Singapore Somerset Youth Park. Readers are able to follow the Studio's process from understanding precedents to researching and analysing the site before arriving with conceptual proposals that enhance the dynamism of Somerset Youth Park. Each project is presented with generous illustrations and diagrams. Experts on placemaking design and designing for youth were also invited to share their thoughts about placemaking and youth design via contributed articles.
