Alton Rift Apartments The Alton Ri Apartment Complex is a mixed- income housing development. Located on the waterfront at 300 Alton Road, the program dicates a four to six ra o of luxury apartments to low income housing respec vely. Taking the form of a stepped pyrmid, the luxury units feature ocean front terraces and a tall ceiling height while the low income housing looks out into the city with a more regular facade. on either side of the building, perfora ons of varying size form the various public spaces accessable by all residents and connected by sky bridges. As the two buildings come closer together, the roof top pool and garden would serve to brings together all the residents of the community.

Pigon Key Research Center The Pigon Key Reseach Center is an educa onal facility equipted with research labs and classrooms aimed at long termed resident scholars as well as visi ng students interested in marine sciences and costal resiliency. The building is net zero and self-sustaining through the u liza on of a large louvered solar cell cannopy, an energy eďŹƒcient double-envelope design, passive open air circula on, rainwater collec on systems dual process waste treatment system as integral aspects of its design.
Sukkah Design Build The sukkah design build compe on is hosted by UM Hillel as a part of their sukkot celebra on. The design of our sukka features an undula ng la ace wall mimicking the form of tradi onal tent structures billowing in the wind and a rigid wall on the side to provide for a sense of security and privacy. A pillar of light guides visitors to the entrance and the ergonomic lounge chair and bench welcomes guests to stay and rest, and partake in this ancient tradi on.
Mikveh Emmanuell Scriptorium
Documentation and adaptive reuse
As a part of an ini a ve by the school, we documented the Mikveh Emmanuell Synagogue in Curacao through tradi onal survey techniques and drone imagery as shown on the le . A er which I designed the Mikevh Emmanuell Scriptorium in the surrounding buildings owned by the Synagogue as an adap ve reuse interven on to benifit the members of the congraga on. Borrowing from the tradi on of Biblical transcrip ons, the scriptorium is a space for jewish people around the world to come and transcribe the Torah as mandated by judaic law. The facili e aimes to contribute to the religion as a whole and through which raises the religious prominance of this synagogue.
ULI Hines 2019: Green Pulse Redevelpoment Green Pulse is an environmentally sustainable, wellness-oriented development project on the south side of downtown Cincinna . Extending on the bank of the Ohio River, the project aims to provide a green, healthy, ac ve-living zone; a fusion of the essence of sports and sustainability that is framed between the US Bank Arena, Great American Ballpark and Paul Brown Stadium. The project is a cultural hub that integrates the exis ng sports infrastructure, a growing music scene, and a chain of public parks and greenspaces–all further enhanced through the introduc on of health and wellness facili es.

The Wave Beach Structure The wave beach structure takes inspira on from the japanese wood block print “The Great Wave�. Working with a very ght material constraint, the curveture of the shading device segments and nests ghtly on a single 2x6 x10 board and is op mal for CNC fabrica on. Through the lamina ng of the boards with staggered cut lines we are able to achieve the strength we need for this structure.
Poolside Cabanas For my intership at Mckenzie Build, one of the project I worked on is the pool side cabanas. I was responsible for the enginneering drawing and specs. Working from a sketch by the architect, I designed the internal aluminum frame work and Ipe Cladding. the design was done in tandem to the construc on.

UM School of Architecture Lantern Festival The UM lantern fes val is an exercise in place making, with Professor Armando Montero as the advisor, I was responsible for the planning, fundraising, execuon, and marke ng of the event. The court yard space was layed out with the tents and lanterns sketchup. And all the water lantern were designed in Fusion 360 and hand made.
