Facebook has launched a $399 VR headset called the Oculus Quest that brings Oculus Rift-like experiences to the masses. The Oculus Quest offers the best of both worlds in that it is completely standalone -- which means that it does not require to be tethered to a PC or a phone -- like the Oculus Go, and it supports six degrees of freedom like the Oculus Rift. But what’s so special about Oculus Quest anyway?
